Savage/Sicily @ D4.... That is a deep defence this year.
I like option 4. Savage + Steven + Walters!
Thoughts on the options below:
1. Savage, Brayshaw, Venebles (Rookie) + 14K
2. Hibberd, Finlayson (Rookie), Christensen + 40K
Not too fussed about the rookie selections.

Naughton D7 and a O'Connor type in the mids could work
Would take Finlayson at D8 and Coffield at D4-5 though too for extra flexibility. I'm thinking of doing similar.
I had Cripps in my squad up until last week when I replaced him with Parker as my M5. I'm not really sold on Sicily as yet.
I then changed my mind AGAIN last night and brought Cripps back in. It really is a toss up between these two.

Last night I was playing and I can do: Brayshaw + Kelly/Dusty instead of Sicily + Cripps.
Cripps has been very in and out of my team, same with the D3 defender.
D3 and that midfield position are the only 2 I have changed in the last week.
Same here. Cripps vs Parker is one dilemma and the other is Vlastuin vs Brayshaw.
i don't see Vlastuin being a consistent scorer at all ! No one in our backline is going to be Dt relevant besides maybe Houli but he may miss round 1 as you know...

Not backline, but what do you think of Lambert?
I rate Vlastuin very highly as a footballer, and I think he would be an awesome addition to your midfield if Hardwick ever wanted to exercise that.
He's just a damn good defender as well, and hence often gets given accountable roles, and isn't left to gather the footy such as Ellis (who couldn't defend to save his life)
Lambert i thought about alot but im not sure he will be putting up 90-100s everyweek he could prove me wrong he did finish 4th in our b&f last year he does get given a role sometimes which probably is the change in his scoring.
Ive wanted him in the midfield for so long now and alot of other richmond supporters but he is the general down back so i don't see that changing !

A couple of PODs are always good to have, and, he is definitely one of mine.
He averaged 81 in his last 7 home and away games after he returned with only one game below 80.

Second option for mine
The gap between Zorko and Coniglio is probably 10ppg (110 vs 100)
The gap between Smith and Petracca is probably 10ppg (95 vs 85)
The gap between Rayner and Fristch is probably 10ppg (65 vs 55)
Net result of +20ppg with option 2 I reckon
Fairly sure I am down to my last x/y decision with my side, its a choice of a midfielder and forward
Walters + Rockliff/Cripps/Whitfield (early 700k range)

Or If I can somehow find 3k in my side
