Looks like DC universe has finally got a release date

The graphics look a bit last gen atm but i think the fun gameplay will more than make up for it.
Also being able to make your own hero or villain is a great idea.
Cant wait.

Agree, graphics are VERY meh. Reminds me of the Hulk games actually (bland detail on everything) or Prototype. A lot of MMO's have mediocre graphics though, just one of the compromises no doubt.

But where this SHOULD excel will be the gameplay and being able to be your own superhero/villain amongst the greatest DC comic stars of all time. Marvel would've been better, but DC still has some great players on the card.

Hopefully there's plenty to do as well.

Im deciding whether to buy a PS3 or an xBox 360 all my friends are on xbox but ive heard ps3 is better. what should i do?!?!?!

If your friends have XBox's and use XBox Live then definitely go that path.

Mate if your friends all have xbox's you'd be mad to buy a ps3.

The better console is really a matter of opinion, both have certain pro's and cons and have certain things over the other.

Playing with real friends always>>>>>>>>>>>>>people you meet over game networks/internet

Get what your friends have

The graphics look a lot better than last years E3 teaser(and so they should), i guess with a little polish it may be a little better than i thought.
It still has a comic feel to the grphx which is what you want

inFAMOUS 2 confirmed. Cole's back, new voice actor (he also looks WAY different), will be in a different City (speculation towards a New Orleans type of city).

The upcoming issue of GameInformer confirms the existence of Infamous 2, the sequel to 2009's electrifying title from developer Sucker Punch.

Not many details have been revealed about the game, but GI did confirm hero Cole MacGrath will be heading to a completely new city and will receive new powers as well. We know Cole will also have a different voice. Jason Cottle, who voiced Cole in the first game, will not return for the sequel. Cole will now be played by actor David Sullivan.

I'm actually playing thru Infamous again atm (as EVIL cole ) and i think the second has got a LOT to live up to.
And yes that cole looks very gay.

Frankly I really don't see the point of changing the voice actor. I doubt Cole got voicebox surgery between 1 and 2.

As seen by the new concept art Cole's gone through a fair change (nose job and hair implants?). Visually and now voice wise. A lot of people complained about his voice been too typically "gravel" ridden. It seems Sucker Punch have had the idea for a while now though. No idea what David Sullivan is like (could probably look up some youtube footage of him I guess), but it would seem they might move from the gravel voice.

And based on the ending of inFAMOUS, anything is possible in this game.

Lame, I really liked the way Cole looked in the first one. Didn't have rugged good looks, didn't look like an underwear model. Just looked like a regular person.

I d/led Primer last night. And had a listen to his voice. It's fairly normal, nothing light and fluffy to it. And I'd say that the original inFAMOUS guy has a normal voice but put on a fair amount of gruff to it. So I dunno where they will go with it. We'll find out at E3 though most likely with a trailer.

There's rumours spreading now that it might not be Cole on the cover as the PS Blog when confirming the game didn't confirm that it was Cole on the cover.

Back to Killzone 3.

Hoping they keep Skirmish mode, but it needs a lot of improvement, specifically:
- ability to level up, stats, create profiles
- ability to pick mode (everything is basically moshpit)
- split screen co-op would be nice
- being able to order around squad members

It's one of my favourite features on a PS3 game and one of the reasons I never traded the game in so hopefully it's even better in the next one.

Art director Matthias Lorenz told the magazine that he gave Cole a new look in order to make him a “more appealing, more compelling main character.” In terms of his new personality, Animation Director Billy Harper mentioned that they wanted the new Cole to be “a little gritty, a little street, without the grumpiness.” They described him as an “EXTREME sports star - like Travis Pastrana, Tony Hawk or Chris Sharma - what would they be like if they had super powers.”

Basically you only have the choice of map. Once you're in the map you have to play all seven different modes which are about 5 minutes each (capture the flag, search and destroy x 2, assassination x 2, search and retrieve and team death match) and the winner is the best out of 7. You can't change it in any way, you can't change the time and you can't choose to have only say TDM.
