Hearing Control is enough to make me give Alan Wake a go. Control was brilliant. The "Take Control" sequence is one of the all time great moments in video games.

I started downloading Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. Not sure what files I am supposed to select so I just started downloading the main 182GB file and 3 campaign files, all up over 250GB or thereabouts. What the hell sort of graphics does this game have to need to blow through 250GB’s for a 6-7 hour game?

Ah, that sucks mate. I have been caught out like that with the second Horizon game. Waited so long for a sale, got it on sale and then it appeared on PS Plus not long after.

Looked at a review of Deaths Door, pretty keen on that one. Played one of the old tiger woods with mates through lock down, making ridiculously hard courses and then vs each other

I wonder if they've fixed the multiplayer in PGA 2k23. I bought that on release to play with family and there was a frequent bug that didn't crash the game, but would just sit there in camera after finishing a hole and wouldn't progress to the next one.

You didn't just have to wait for everyone to finish? Pga 2k21 just gave me a shot of the scenery whilst I had to wait for everyone to finish the hole.

Nah we would finish and just sit there. Any UI would disappear and it would just return to whatever background camera was running. We tried seeing if one of us had a bad connection causing it but it doesn't matter which order we left the game it didn't change anything, except for whenever the second last person left and the final person would be returned to the menu. Putting my dev hat on and being familiar with Unity I suspect it was waiting for some "async await" method to return something or progress. The fact that the game didn't crash is a good sign it was some sort of Async method waiting for something, but despite numerous communities reporting the issue at the time the developers couldn't pin down the cause.
