No, someone got their hands on a physical copy and the ROM was uploaded from there I believe.

Been listening to the soundtrack all day. My god the music is incredible for a Pokemon game. Is this really a Pokemon game? And I *love* the throwback in the champion battle theme!!!

BTW how refreshing is it that grunts, admins, bosses and important characters have their own battle themes now. All of Team Flare except one sharing the same battle theme got old so quick last gen.

Played an hour last night and it's started at a much slower pace than X/Y. Only just filled up a party of 6 Pokémon and about to start the first set of trials. There is a fair bit of dialogue and unplayable sequences to chew through at the start.
I'd have the first gym badge and my Kanto starter by now if it was X/Y.

Im assuming you mean through an emulator?
My 3DS is modded with custom firmware so i just play it on there.

Pokemon Sun leaked so traded myself through GTS to get all the starters from Moon.

I know most of us have seen the leaked Pokemon but Corocoro has released it's final issue before the games officially release showong Necrozma and two other Ultra Beasts.
The interesting thing is that it suggest Necrozma is the third legendary and not necessarily an Ultra Beast, or is possibly both.

Cosmog evolves into Lunalla or Solgaleo depending on your version, Cosmog is an ultrabeast so I guess there is no 3rd legendary

Yeah I'm one of the few not looking at leaks. I still reap what I sow for reading the thread.
I ended up picking Rowlet, his fully evolved form looks badass IMO.

I'm gonna pull an Ash and never evolve popplio.
Mega Evolution has been buffed.
Speed boosts/abilities come into play on the first turn, not second.
So Bannete gets Prankster turn 1, Diancie and Beedril dont need to run protect as they get their speed turn 1.
That's a big buff.

Turns out you can mod your 3DS with custom firmware quite easily without anything extra as long as you have the right version or below.
Having not updated the firmware on my 3DS for 18 months might be a good thing for me lol
