A couple things:
Trump is way more organised now. He has a full team of Trump loyalists, whereas in the past his inner sanctum was made up of status quo republicans.

Republicans now control all three houses of government. There wont be Schumer/Pelosi etc standing in his way or any distractions like the impeachment proceedings or Mueller investigation.

Pretty much Trump is going to have free rein to do whatever he wants until at least the midterms in 2026.

And that's exactly how it should be. It's the only way he cant wriggle out excuses when they have stuffed up. No negotiations will take place to pass bills, it's all on Donald's administration. Hes solely to blame if shit hits the fan. Go as far right as you can go too. Really turn people off the conservative brand by the end of his term at least.
