This is just a non-issue.

One of two things happens:

a) he abolishes elections and becomes a presidential dictator
OR
b) he is overthrown by a movement from below, in which case he will be tried for his political crimes, which are of a totally different scale of magnitude to whatever crimes he has also committed against individuals.
c) Yes, he will also be tried for the individual crimes, but by that time he will already be spending the rest of his time behind bars.

I think you misread Trump.

He is happy to be a "convicted" felon, because it was the swamp, the "deep state", the "Marxist Democrats" who convicted him, and they will pay the price.

Hoping that this is merely poorly worded and the goal is to lower inflation for the general population. Ending inflation outright is an ideological pipedream.

Ending inflation ain't a pipedream. If they simply held the money supply fixed then not only would inflation end but deflation would occur due to productivity growth.

Howevet, ending inflation is actually a bad thing because it takes away the ability of the central bank to stabilise the economy and employment through interest rates given interest rates can only be positive.

A small inflation rate is ideal to give central banks a buffer for stabilisation purposes.
