Its already aging like milk with the people he is putting into positions.

Surely there is no way that Gaetz gets past the Senate. GOP currently have 53 Senators, that's mean they can only afford to lose three, if they lose 4 thay can't get anyone through.

They'll lose far more than four if they try to move Gaetz. They all hate him. Same for Tulsi.
Vance has a vote?

The tourists want to be pardoned
A leader of the Proud Boys who was convicted last year of seditious conspiracy for his role in the storming of the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, on Wednesday asked President-elect Donald J. Trump for a pardon.
The Proud Boys leader, Joseph Biggs, who is serving a 17-year prison term, was the first of dozens of Proud Boys members found guilty in connection with Jan. 6 to formally request clemency for the part he played in the Capitol attack. Other high-ranking members of the extremist organization, including its former chairman, Enrique Tarrio, who was sentenced to 22 years in prison in his Jan. 6 case, have also signaled they intend to ask Mr. Trump for pardons.

That was always going to happen if he won. They will also be invited to the White House as Patriots to welcome them home.

Americans don’t agree on much, but it seems they all agree on one thing: Gaetz is an awful AG pick.

Wonder if republicans are beginning to see that the emperor has no clothes? Oh well. Reap what you sow.

I think there will be a possibility that the old republican firm may not give him the votes required.

And boy is it needed.

Wasn't this about Hunter?

As for Joe it was of no political consequence to continue. He'd probably say "I don't remember" a lot anyway (and he'd be telling the truth)
So, the enquiry was always about the political consequences then? And never actually about breaking the law?

I heard that they are looking to cut $1 Trillion from the budget.

Be interesting where they cut it from. Hope it is from health and Social Security. Won't be defense.

Seems from threads that a lot of Maga are looking forward to wasteful inefficient socialist/communist/woke Obama care getting overturned, so the money can go into boosting the Affordable Care Act their health needs depend on.

Funnily enough I actually agree with the sentiment of a lot of things you say. But **** me the way you say them is incredibly offputting.

If you got rid of all the class this and revolution that, you'd get a lot more traction.

This post for example.
Nah he was replying to me after I had replied to him with a similar post. We agree to disagree on what we think will happen, and that’s ok because we are trying to predict future events

Of course. As was Trumps impeachment.

The difference was the Democrats lacked the good sense to see pursuing it was going to result in one big nothing burger..so what did they do? the morons did it TWICE with the same predictable outcome.

And after all that?

He's baaaaaack!

Many are put off by the term "class", because terms such as 'class', 'class struggle', bourgeoisie, proletariat ...have been outlawed by "polite" society. But the category of social class, which indicates a person's relationship to the means of production ( I can hear you screaming right now in the background!!) is the only scientific category for analysing the dynamics of capitalist society.

So try to just consider the use of the word "class" and terms like "class struggle" as the scientific terms they are. Marxism has always been banned from schools, and then at universities Marxism is given a terrible reputation by postmodernists who fraudulently claim to be Marxists. In reality they promote postmodernism, an entirely right wing philosophical outlook which claims - in total opposition to Marxism - that the categories of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation (ie individual markers of identity) are the drivers of society.

Postmodernism has had a pervasive and pernicious influence on all of society, to such an extent that it is considered "progressive" in pseudo left circles to refer to race, ethnicity, gender etc, but "off putting" to refer to class.

One important factor in the election debacle of the Democrats was their refusal to appeal to the class interests (ie the material, social interests) of the vast majority of the US population, but instead to base everything on issues of gender, sexual orientation, mysogyny, race, etc.

I see the point has been entirely lost on you.

This isn’t an academic journal, or an essay at university. If you want any traction with people - and I believe you actually do have decent points - then they way you present your arguments is important.

The way you write is absolutely useless for appealing to the working class.

Strange how excited you are that a career criminal once again hasn’t suffered the consequences of their crimes.

Not sure how you think the point has been lost.

You said initially that i should avoid using terms such as "class", "revolution"

I just explained that if i did so, I would not be explaining the truth to anyone, (because the truth is based on science, not what certain layers of society want to hear) and therefore I would be making an appeal on the wrong basis.

I understand that many will not like the use of these terms, and on this basis will close their minds.

But that does not mean that everyone will.

Finally, what I am saying actually resonates with the working class, ie those people who are working for an employer, and being paid an average to poor wage so that the employer can extract hefty profits. People involved daily in such processes understand exactly what I mean, and respond accordingly.

Social being determines social consciousness.

So, a paid board member. Not the chairman. Not the CEO.

How was he running the place, then?
As far as I can remember, on this board and another mostly US with some conservatives included, absolutely nobody ever defended Hunter. It was accepted he was a low-life, using the only thing he had - his name to make some cash. An also it was almost universally agreed upon that if Joe had some involvement that he should get tagged.
The fact is, the ensuing investigation was amateurish, and went nowhere near Joe. That crap that Comer keeps spewing about money Joe made off it has not been close to being proved. If it was even in the same ballpark as proven it would have been put out into the Fox and right-wing griftosphere. He would say it in an actual court of law. Like the election fraud nonsense, they know their lies would subject them to charges.
It's pathetic these clowns repost what are essentially old Fox chyrons.
