USA Policy positions of Donald Trump; let's see how many he achieves

All i did was point out that RFK jr didn't say he was making processed foods illegal.
This was nobody's argument, nobody said he did that. It is irrelevant.

If you think a single photo with a hamburger is the big gotcha moment.......than geez.......politics really is that cooked.
It's an example of his failures.

He made an absolute song and dance about it.

Now he is selling McDonald's? You know he's a bonehead. You know he's a grifter. You know he has poor judgement.

This PR photo is an example of all of those things.

I get yours also but there is absolutely nothing wrong with eating McDonalds as a treat or on the go when called for. The problem is a lot of Americans only eat this type of food.

Just like with Alcohol moderation is what is needed.

You can have a very healthy diet and then have things like alcohol, fast food as long as it's balanced in amongst a wider healthy diet. I think that's more to what the point being made is.
So after running on a policy of making America healthy again, the first food he’s photographed eating (promoting) is Maccas.

He may be genuine in his desire to see Americans eat less processed food but clearly that comes second to keeping Donald happy.

Yeah eating McDonald’s once in a blue moon won’t kill you but if you are making it your life’s work to get people eating less of it, you don’t willingly go posing for a photo eating it. Do you think Rosemary Stanton would ever be photographed with a Big Mac?

Oh i certainly think RFK jr is indeed a a bonehead and certainly has poor judgement - but not in regard to this specific issue.

I think people are a bit smarter than that.

I'd suggest most would know just because RFK has one photo with Maccas, doesn't mean he is eating it every meal.

You can argue the optics are bad. fine. But i dont see a massive issue with it when you line it up against his general messaging to date.

It's a similar look to Nancy Reagan smoking a joint.

Not really.

Regans war on drugs was to say no to drugs. Not to say take crack but in moderation with a healthy diet...........

Nobody said this. You are putting up straw men.

I'll leave it there, other things to do today.

i didn't say they said it.

Simply saying that the photo that you think is bad, probably isn't as bad as your making it out to be. Majority of people aren't going to look at it and go, of RFK is eating Maccas, i'm going to go order Maccas for lunch after already having it yesterday.

Cya round.

Just say no had a caveat, if you were using drug money to fund coups in central America then it was a very firm yes from the Reagans.

The context is important. He's on a private jet. It's not like he swung by Maccas in a rush or didn't have any alternative available.

it was probably harder to get Maccas than healthy food.

I know some health nut anti-vaxxers who think RFK is the next coming of Christ. This picture would shock them. But they'll make excuses, like they do for Trump and move on.

Dont think so, from what have read that is literally what Trump has on his plane as a staple.

Anyways his ani vax rhetoric is what the issue for me is, not this photo.

if your Anti vaxx mates are upset by this photo, then i suppose that's a good thing to come out of it.

when politicians go into power past actions and comments come back to life.

who knew the defence candidate paid off a woman for an alleged sexual assault
,now where have i read this before?

Peter Hegseth, the military veteran, Fox & Friends chat host and Donald Trump’s pick to head the department of defense, reportedly paid a woman who accused him of sexual assault – an encounter that he insists was consensual.

According to the Washington Post, the unnamed woman was paid an unknown sum after signing a nondisclosure agreement.
And some serious white supremacy tattoos all over his body!
He’s clearly unfit for office, only ever made it to Captain in the armed forces!
Biden had a 4 Star General with 40 years in all areas of the military.
Yikes!😟

Why bring it up then?

As a straw man.

You're saying that RFK promoting Maccas is a bad thing, i'm telling why that's not necessarily accurate.

That is not acting as a strawman.... that's just called having a conversation between two people with different opinions......

Bizarre you would label that some type of strawman moment lol. Because i dont agree with you, i guess?

I see HTW is back, just asking questions, and redirecting commentary, specifically about the GOP though. Strange how it never seems to happen for the Dems. Can't wait for his take on the Alan Jones trial when it happens.
Have you noticed that all MAGAs defend Trump, always, and fill the feed with inane question after inane question, no matter how many people answer. I see it s a form of trolling..
