His delivery on the left inside 50 is actually quite good. I'd prefer to see him practice on his right. He hasn't nailed that just yet

Absolutely. The doco I saw was brutal - orphaned adolescent male elephants killing other animals, traumatizing other elephants etc with no leadership in place.

They trialled dropping in some bulls and all the dickheads pulled back into line.

Apologies if there is one, but I’m keen to know who everyone thinks should be our captain this coming season.

It is a big decision obviously & I would be surprised if there isn’t a change to what we have now.

I personally want a sole captain & without being inside the 4 walls to really know, I think Larkey is my choice.

Sheezel & Daniel as vice captains.

Parker, Simpkin, LDU & Xerri to round out the leadership group.

But I’d go co captains Sheezel and Simpkin or Parker

The thing about Sheezel is once he’s captain he’ll remain so for most of his career. If you start that now, then the best anyone else can reach is a VC.

It also means if we start it early like so many profess to want, and it proves to be too much too early, then it’s awkward to take it off him or make him share.

Its a shame LDU doesn’t seem to want it.

For mine it’s Larkey C, Xerri and Sheez as VC, for 2 years until Sheez is 100% ready to rock.

He's also the only bloke that's captained a successful side on our list. Has been a part of an elite program and will immediately be in our best 10-15 players, JY has done none of this. I'm not sure Jy is a walk up starter at too many other teams.

I think the fact so many want it to happen is kinda telling in itself how fans rate Jy as a captain.

His underperforming teammates that keep voting LMac in?

And as for someone overhearing Jy saying he wouldn’t be happy with Clarko in “jest”. He should be just worried about getting a game, as I have him currently just in the 23 and I don’t have LMac in at all.

The time for niceties has gone.

LDU should be captain with Sheez as vice and Souv and Jy as DVC.

If Jy or LMac dirty up at this, put them in the VFL and ship them off at years end.
