So is before the draft?
and after the delist deadline?

Just send over the U23's with Boaky as captain

But great news!

Great news for our club.

The little things count and it is experiences like this which make it seem like it is not all missed opportunity playing for a less financed club like PAFC.

It is after the free agency window (Oct 1-Oct 26) so I assume any free agents we signed would be able to take part in the trip too? A nice extra incentive.

Ok - I'm going to be the downer here. I'd rather see them running up and down sandhills (Herb Elliot style) on Kangaroo Island with a maniacal fitness coach (Percy Cerutti if he hadn't died) lashing them until they collapse and/or get flown to the Royal Adelaide. During recovery they should be for forced to listen to lectures from past greats and master tacticians and then recite game plays until hoarse. Every second day they practice drills and skills, and on Sunday they go to church...for an hour where they give thanks to their loyal Fu#%ing supporters.

And a team junket to London is not a financial incentive if you're making 500k a year...

Not necessarily a financial incentive but definitely an experiential one. Would be a brilliant trip with your mates, there is no reason they can't be flogged too :).

As someone mentioned earlier we could get our last good fitness guy (UK based) to run them through their paces.

I went to one of these exhibition games back in 1997. They are actually quite shit.

Remember what time the game started? Hopefully it's around mid dayish.

I reckon the club should do something for the members here. Draw one 10+ years member and one new member who signs up before Christmas 2012 to accompany the team all expenses paid.

I would love to see the club offer an expensive package to allow someone to join in on pre-season. I would love to do the pre-season boot camp style to see just how hard they work. Obviously there would have to be minimum fitness standards so they don't hold everyone up but I am pretty fit so I think I could at least keep up with Big Red.

Not sure if the logistics would ever work but it would be an awesome experience.

This is really cool, should be an excellent bonding experience for the boys and hopefully they can learn a bit by visiting some EPL clubs. Well done Port Adelaide.
KT "how good is this job Leigh, NZ and Uk in year 1, how long can I get away with this?"
BD " get me out of this town so I can hang with the boys and act 21, Leigh can I go?"

Great opportunity for players though

Good news.
Our players get to go on an end of year trip plus high altitude training in Italy and the AFL covers most of the costs. :thumbsu:
