A trial against the same team we play 6 days later in R1. Surely we could have found somebody else to play. It just sends the wrong message about how seriously we take the SANFL.

And if we are going to play them, why not play 3 quarters on Sunday instead of 4 on Saturday. Both sides will have to hold back players for their AFL games. In the COVID world that means holding back 3 or 4 players not just 1 for the freak hammy during the warm up.

It will become the most pointless trial game ever. If it were 3/4 on Sunday, at least all players could have a real crack at getting a spot in next weeks AFL team. This will be no more than a half arsed training session with our mates from the swamp.

The SNAFL are pretending to be like the big boys and having a week's break between their pre-season games and R1 of the real season - this is the only game being played this weekend. The Maggies and the Yarises didn't play in the week that the AFL sides had their break, so this might be to make up for that.

Pretty ordinary effort

Everybody fumbling, can’t hit easy targets.

The forward entries are absolute trash, Visentini as a forward doesn’t look good either, Hayes looked a better target earlier.

Sutcliffe really needs to improve, he’s had some clear chances to get centre clearances and he can’t do anything well.

The pressure just isn’t there either, way too easy for the crows to get out of their backline.
