Hopefully when the debt clears we can shake off the AFL control and become more member driven
I'm expecting Koch to announce something on this at the AGM.

I think they will try and get ahead of the crowd and give the bare minimum concession to try and placate the masses (a bit like the prison bars).

I'm expecting him to push for something like 1 extra member elected board member to try and cut off arguments for it to be a majority member control.

Good news for investors!

oh wait, i'm being told that is just money we didn't invest in football.

I'm also being told a majority of this is because of austerity and membership price increases. Exciting result.

Yeah ok. The board will surely move to do that any day now!

Lol imagine trying to build an investment case for PAFC Ltd. You'd take one look at the board and run a million miles.

Here is my question if anyone wants to ask it at the AGM:

What is the exact percentage of your revenue uplift that has been derived from increasing the cost of membership and ticketing? In more direct terms, how much extra have you been happy to charge your 'valued' members and supporters in the midst of a cost of living crisis in order to keep your own wages moving higher?
YOU DON'T GET TO ENJOY THIS!!

It's all fiction until RussellEbertHandball reports in.
The $20m revaluation of land and buildings will be interesting to see how they explain a revaluation of a new building that was only completed in February, unless it has something to do with the bowling club land.

$69 mill in revenue is nothing to be sneezed at. It comfortably puts us in the middle teir of revenue earners without any significant outside of football operations. We still get atleast $5 mill more in AFL distributions than the "big" clubs including the Crows. You know we've probably got to financial stability if we drop to the next teir. Look I despise this board for their football acumen, but you begrudgingly have to give them credit for the complete turnaround in our financials. AO and getting rid of the SANFL albatross (mostly) played a huge part and can be argued that those wheels were put in motion by those before them, but yeah as I said, begrudgingly Koch Head has done a reasonable job on this front.

Interesting that our revenue rivals a top championship club like Norwich.
I think you are incorrectly comparing AUD total to a GBP total revenue figures.

When we clear our debt next year, I wonder if pushing to own our AFL licence, or at least get a guideline will be next.

So did all the people who dropped their memberships to "hit them where it hurts" suddenly sign on again when we got deep into finals? or did they just grossly overestimate the impact of their sooking?
BLOODY WELL SAID
