I'm a Narkle fan but he's blown so many opportunities going forward by taking his sweet ass time for Gold Coast to get numbers back.

That said it's a systemic issue, midfield to forward connection has been a failure for years and that is on Ken, Carr and Chad.

The forwards should have been leading to him for both of those kicks. Finlayson was standing flat footed in the goal square and Dixon 2 m behind his opponent in the bloody pocket. What option were they giving him? Lord is incognito.

It's why I don't mind Visentini coming in as a second ruck along with Georgiades.

Like it has no impact to our forward line structure as there isn't any to begin with.

I had a slither of ill placed hope that last week would signal a much stronger run of form with exciting, game breaking, fast, precise footy. It was predicated on Georgiades being able to capitalise on Butters and Rozee’s return to form and the rebound of a defence that looks much sharper. Two of those defenders are out injured now which does us big time. The lack of alternative avenues to goal is horrific.

Being completely out coached here. GC flooded the corridor and we have changed nothing, as usual. They absorb the mindless repeat entries and score on the rebound. So, basically the same as any other loss in the past 5 years.
