Even if there's 50k in the marquees somewhere, they're not watching the game. They could just bring the marquees next time, leave the AFLM clubs at home.
:D
AFLM are embarrassed by China experiment:$
Even more embarrassed by playing in front of less people than the local under 8’s

Back home now. What a great few weeks and great game. Growing bigger and more ingrained every year. Victoria are 'all-in' in 2019, so PAFC and Victoria to be banking the benefits.

Other clubs are annoyed though, being locked in to stadium contracts and unable to leverage the new market. AFC playing catch-up and trying to push AFLX for India, but AFL want SEA first to build on well established communities.

Hiya Subs, you going to Alice Springs?
Why would the wench go to Alice Springs when she did not even bother to go to watch her team play in a grand final last year? :$

Tarps would be easier, they could pick em up at the gate.
Shit never gets old

What - at best 3000 watching the game ?????
Oh... but marquees ... they were in the marquees ....

Hang on ( no , not the name of a Chinese spectator) marquee capacity for all 3 - 550

Ok
Where were all the puffers ???? 6500 of the bastards ?????

I love that club

Growing bigger? Less Port fans went and less people attended. More cushions than people. Interesting that Phil Hoffman Travel, great Port supporters did not do trips via Cathay. Only used Qantas and Singapore

“So whereas originally pax was always travellers (live human bodies that need to be transported) it's often now more generally applied to any"customers, people, bodies" occupying space (usually, seats or beds), who must be entertained, accommodated, fed, etc.“
What did you think it meant?

550

What’s the pax of your VN commodore where you sleep ?

2?
You and your dog? Can’t count Stevie Nicks - she’s only on your 8 track and certainly no room for anyone with 457 visas, eh.

Maybe the missing 6500 are hiding under those fetching “cushions”

What idiot thought THOSE up

Lulz we’ve picked up 15 mill in revenue from China

Four clubs want to take part and the Vic state government can’t get enough of it

AFL says it was a success

But it’s a failure because Subaru says so...

Such a shame you have to spend it all on or in China.

“Koch at the AGM told El Zorro that for the 2017 game we raised $4.5m and we spent $4.6m, then Ch 7 invoiced the AFL $100k for extra production costs. I think we had topick them up rather than the AFL”

Straight from your board
C’mon Doc
You’re one of them that actually has half a brain
Don’t tell me you’ve fallen for this propoganda they’re spinning ?

I doubt this government will be in power next year.

By "growing bigger" you mean less people attended and there was less interest, right?

Assume it is good for Aussie businesses to interact with the Chinese locals and business community in the marquees. It sort of feels like an amatuer trade fair with some light entertainment nearby.

Revenue Doc? That's awesome, although completely irrelevant when the AFL are picking up the expense tab and you squeaked in a 28K profit.
Toys 'R' Us had plenty of revenue, but their doors are closing.

Best description yet. Although it's a good synergy between marquees and tarps.
