I would get rid of that whole back line other than Gibbs and maybe Gram. Midfield is alright but needs Harris and probably Bewick. Rucks are ok. Forward line you should get rid of Williams and get in Richardson rest looks ok.

Gibbs should really be in the backs and you've got nobody to switch him with as a DPP. Move him back there so you're not starting 4 rookies in the backs.

Im starting a Lobbe or Tippett in my rucks.

But im not starting a Petrie in my forwards, ill be trading to him after round 4. His price doesnt change till after round 5 if he plays every game he possibly can, so i dont really know what your paying for over the first 4 rounds. Sandi and Cox miss byes at 5 and 6, so he can be brought in at an ideal time.

It also gives me the ability to see how Z.Smith is going and also to see if Petrie can handle 3 games without injuring his foot. No point starting Petrie getting 2 games from 4 than he injures himself and cant cover for rounds 5 and 6 anyway. Than he becomes a horrible player to have in your team, as he had made no money and also covered nothing.

Great way of thinking imo, will be doing the same.

EDIT: However, what sort of player would you be trading for Petrie? A rookie wouldnt have enough time to peak, leaving a sideways trade or downgrade from a fizzle you took a gamble with. Unless you have some spare cash and upgrade a rookie you feel won't perform very well...

While it does give you till the deathknock (ie before Rd 5) to get someone in to play for Sandi/Cox, to get Petrie at that point costs you a trade. Cheapest trade is before lockout IMO.

Otherwise you're putting faith in Smith... who is yet to set foot on the paddock. God help you if he's eased back as a sub.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.
Still tossing up between some changes. Should I change around my defender rookies, switch Polec and Atley, go cheaper in my rucks, put more money into one of Zaharakis, Petterd or Otten.

Also, what do people think of Craig saying Otten will only play as a sub??

Have we all worked out who will be missing when the byes happen? My concerns have been rounds 4-6.
4 - Goddard, Boyd, Higgins, Riewoldt
5 - Cox
6 - Sandilands

Relying on Smith/Derickx for the last two which I am not confident with.
Round 4 I have decent enough subs I guess, but I don't see them scoring more than 60-70% of my premiums average scores.

Left with the decision to perhaps change Higgins, maybe even Boyd (who probably won't increase much if at all) just to not have too much pressure in round 4.

Not sure who to get for Boyd though. Can't get a Geelong, Collingwood, Saints or Bulldogs though. I'll pose my questions in the player x vs y thread though.

Also my bad if this is the wrong place to put what I just said, i'm talking about my team though i guess.
