First, Rottnest Isalnd is a lovely place.

Moving on, backs fine - I'd like to pick Adcock but I don't have the guts and I don't think I'll lose the opportunity to do so at these prices

Dangerfield hasn't done anything to warrant selection from what I've seen.

Like the Power choice. Hawkins and Walker and Riewoldt and Higgins in fwds - big recent injuries there. Ballantyne also injured, though I really like him in due course

I'd put more ballwinners in your fwds and dump Hawkins

good luck - differences willdistinguish you, but conventional wisdom would suggest you can improve...

Odd setup.

In the backs, I would swap two of Lockyer/Mackie/Adcock/Mal/Raines, one to a rookie and then use the extra cash to get a Goddard/Fisher/Hodge/Gilbee type. In need of a consistent high scorer. And also, too much money on the backs bench. You could easily play both of Grimes and Hill and be comfortable knowing they will play most games.

Midfield is fine, although lacking a second/third really good scorer in the form of a Judd/Bartel/Goodes/Cooney type.

Rucks. Pretty much personal preference. Some people like guns in both ruck spots, some don't 'waste' money on a second ruck. Your choice.

Forward line. Kind of like the backline. Personally, I would drop Lucas to a rookie like Grant/M. Brown/Hogan or whoever and then use the extra money to move Medhurst to a better player. Don't know if the cash works out though. You could also get another rookie in the backs, play both Grimes and Hill and use extra cash for another gun here in the forwards

Love the one-out ruck option. Really like Henderson and would only query Pav's early form and likely change of role as well as Fev's value. Buddy a bit early? Who knows, the guy's a freak.

Good balanced team. Probably prefer to see one more 'solid' type in defense. Burgoyne and Gram can be a bit all or nothing, and Malceski is a gamble of sorts.

Mids are good. I'm going with Kerr, and I think Knights is a good pick-up that not too many will have.

Im a bit light on up forward as well.I just hope Higgins and Krakoeur are up to it. Chapman is always a concern, you might do better for the money.

i think this is a good side, which morton? strong midfield, my only criticism would be your last 4 forwards, and rookie fwds. i would try and have ziebell as your first emergency, havent followed hansen and krakour much in the preseason but i wouldnt have either of them in my team.
