Just thought I would mention my thoughts on Fevola. People have mentioned numerous times that he scored 99 goals last year and averaged only 85 SC points. Since he is unlikely to kick more goals than last year how can he possible average more SC points this year??

I will tell you how:
Firstly Carlton are likely to win more games (Instance increase). Secondly the last two seasons he conceded the most 50m penalties. Last year he gave away the third most free kicks. If he is in a team which is winning more games the chances are he will not get frustrated as easily. I could be wrong.

I personally dont have Fev in my team but I think people should start to think outside the square a little.

hey guys this is about my 5th draft of my team. the backline seams a little weak but besides that i happy with the rest

i have 102k left over and am looking to upgrade one of the mids to ablett when/if his price drops below 650k, or maybe malceski to premium def if prices goes up enough

Fev and Roughie I don't like - both had great years last year yet both failed to dazzle. 1 or the other, if either. Too many big forwards. Go for the ones that get touches in the midfield any week.

Your rucks suck. Bellchambers is OK but bench at best

would rather you went for goddard over milburn (last year) and anyone over flecther

Cuz? Who knows. Least of all Cuz.

Ballantyne injured for now.

- Not sure about Robinson in the mid, any other/better options?
- Strengthened the Rucks up about a hundredfold, hope you approve now
- Couldn't squeeze in goddard but got lake instead.

Any other areas that need work? This way I have at least 8 starting players that I would intend on upgrading during the season. Thanks again, any more advice would be keenly taken on board,

Looks better (in my huimble opinion), though if I'm being completely honest I'd still say:

Sidebottom unlikely to play for a while Pie fans say.
Mids look good, though perhaps swift might wait for a while yet?
Rucks unreal, though watching Hille last week I thought he still looked proppy even as the commentators were saying he's in the best for ever. Personally I'm considering McIntish or Ottens. No huge downside I expect.

Overall, a few steps away from a contender, presuming Cuz can find the ball... which he can

I agree, he wasn't his best. He missed 3 easy shots at goal and wasn't as physical as he usually is. If he doesn't get injured he will be AA ruck on the bench or on the ground though.

I think more discussion needs to be given to putting Grimes on the field and Hill on the bench. Is it a viable option given it's a lot of money on the bench?. Seems to me, it may be money well spent given the uncertainty on which rookie backs will get decent game time. Let's face it too, they both will go up in value...so what do people think?. Waste of money or worth it?.

I was impressed with both teams until I came to ur fwds, starting two rookies, throw in Higgins who is injury prone and Krakour, Veszpremi ur taking a huge gamble that i doubt will pay off. You really need to d/grade a couple of ur mids and upgrade Ves, krak, and yarran....other cheaper fwds to consider are lucas, L thomas, skipworth and houlihan

I know a lot of people see Fev as having a consistency problem but I think that might change as Carlton get better. Other than him, I'd maybe like to find replacements for Rance, and maybe Zeibell. Any tips on that would be helpful.
