Alright guys, I would like some thoughts on my team. I've been pretty busy over the last couple of months so didn't really get a chance to set my team in detail until yesterday. Any advice at all, where I might improve my team is much appreciated. Strongly considering downgrading Porps to D. Smith.

Backs: Goddard, Enright, Deledio, Waters, Hargrave, M. Clarke, Ellis (Morris, Wilkes)

Mids: Pendlebury, Ablett, Murphy, Scotland, Coniglio, Mcdonald (Hampton, Magner)

Rucks: Cox, Giles (Redden, Stephenson)

Fwds: Franklin, Goodes, Fyfe, Martin, Dangerfield, Porplyzia, Saad (Hall, Dickson)Please any advice would be appreciated =)

Get rid of Butcher, doesn't get enough of the ball for DT, maybe Porplyzia instead. I'd probably look at someone like Hargrave, Clarke, Lake, Golby instead of Stratton. Don't know much about Parker but unless he's gonna average 75+ you're probably better off going for a rookie (Sheil, McDonald).

Personally I'd move Dangerfield to the forwards as well.

My biggest issue before the lockout is whether to stick with Darley even if he isn't playing. Am leaning towards taking him out.

I actually really like your team nbaman1. A few uniques but a very good midfield and I feel you have picked the best rookie options. Only question mark over rookies is Darley but I'm sure you are aware of that. Keen to see who the last forward is considering you have 5 premium mids but yeah I think you have done well

I think the forward rookies are extremely weak and asides from Devon all have terrible job security. Devon's isn't that good either considering Sheeds has publicly said he would heavily rotate their list.

FYI couch hasn't been upgraded yet. Even with sylvia's injury.

Make sure you've got enough cash to swap him out to someone else if necessary next w/e.

Otherwise no major issues. I would start Magner on the field ahead of Pfeiffer (just the way I read your team from the way you laid it out, but you might've already done this).

Franklin, Fyfe, Martin, Sidebottom, Dangerfield, D. Smith, Pfieffer. Bench: Dickson, Couch.

FYI darley isn't playing round 1. Otherwise I like this team a lot.

Quite happy with this, although I'm wondering if downgrading Waters to Lake and upgrading a fwd Rookie to Porplyzia would be better, given the lack of decent forward rookies. That can be decided later, but:

• Do I bring in a GWS DEF rookie, Townsend, perhaps?
• Should I field Bugg/Townsend (if picked)?
• Should I field Kennedy?

Hepple, Lake and Hargrave!! Big risk with Lake Hargrave not so much lake heppel. But the is better players at the price range.

I have squeezed every last cent out of this side, I have just $1,700 left. I'm also happy with the risk of having the 2 mid-price rucks, saves me coin without having to start a rookie.

I'm not sure how you can call it "flawless" this early in the season. He should have Redden ahead of Stephenson for a start. Hale and Kreuzer don't thrill me as his rucks.

Paine is a Collingwood key position forward that has impressed this preseason. He should get games, but I don't believe he'll score well and think there are better options.

Paine is tipped to be next in line behind to help out Dawes and cloke, had a decent preseason and the 98k price tag helps me out a lot. Maxy was interviewed yesterday by dreamteam talk and said to look out for him, without being prompted specifically. He's a DEF/FWD.
