Don't subscribe to 'X' so what's the general drift about Louie?

It's actually a direct link to Rookie Me which has a snapshot of Louie.

Montgomery is powerfully built and has an array explosive traits. His aerial ability is aided by a spring-heeled vertical leap, which sees him soar to intercept down back or rise for speccies up forward. His burst of speed is useful when transitioning the ball, while his agility makes him a potential midfielder down the line, or dangerous forward 50 craftsman.

Typically, Montgomery has utilised his gifts to be an attacking rebound defender who loves to run-and-carry. While he can add composure to his high-octane style, he generally gains plenty of metres and has the ability to win back whatever turnovers he causes. His upside is considerable and he certainly catches the eye on first glance.

Port Adelaide has opted not to nominate Francou as a possible father-son selection for the 2024 Telstra AFL National Draft.

He joins former Gold Coast and Central District player Jez McLennan in being signed to Port Adelaide under the new list guidelines.

Might be a silly question, but now that we have passed on him as a f/s this year, could we still pick him up as a f/s in future drafts if he applies for the ND?

That's a good move, Oliver could really set up for a shot at AFL footy with a good season. He has some good qualities.

I would assume so, I've seen father-son used on mature agers.

This would suggest Rome & Louie are both on the radar/likely to be picked up by us come the rookie draft.

Top news, gives him the chance to develop under an AFL system and will probably need a couple of years of dev. Long shot to make it , but gives him a chance to prove himself.

Also interesting that we all see him as that big body type, reality s at 182cm he's only 1 cm taller then Berry in the draft whose a small forward.

Good move by the club, I wouldn't be surprised if we draft him with as a late ND pick or a rookie in 2025 after a few delistings (Williams/McEntee/Atkins).

I am stoked with that! I really like some of his attributes. Now he has the chance to show us whether he really has the goods or not.

I thought Rome was supposed to be the most talented of Peter's sons? hope they know what they are doing

Yeah same, we’ll look dumb if another club pick him up.
