No. He’s been on the list four years. He has to show something more than that. He has yet to play one convincingly positive game at the higher level.

We know he’s not quick but you have to have some other strength. Desperation, evasiveness, clean hands, tenacity. He’s got zilch.

Clearly not the reason we lost by 9 goals but he shouldn’t bother expecting another opportunity at AFL level again.

If we’re dinkum, then he, Jonas and Dumont are the three players who should slide off our list first at season’s end.
What help did he have around him?

The complete team defence/pressure we saw before the bye has gone post the bye. Have been winning based on the brilliance of a few rather than a total team buy in.

The game plan doesn’t work unless the pressure is there

This loss was coming for a while now

Yes some lopsided stats sheets lately. The bottom players have been stinking it up.

Yes is probably a hard game plan to play week in week out, keeping up that level of insane pressure especially with quite a young team.

We haven’t seen the best of JHF or Butters for at least a month now. Rozee, with some support from Drew, is the only mid firing at the moment.
Wines and Boak have never been less influential.

If Butters and JHF can’t get their games going again, we’ll slide back to 2022 form very quickly.

They all seem ****ed. We've come out of the bye worse.

There would be a dozen plodder backmen across the SANFL that wouldn't have embarrased themselves as much as Jonas in the first quarter.

As cooked as you'll ever see a player.
Playing McKenzie on one leg would have been 10 times better than the crap Jonas dished out today!
