I think it’s an easy out to blame it all on Jonas, we should organise a running of te Jonas’s to exorcise all of the inbred villagers superstitious belief’s if that’s what rockstar boat
The game we had to lose or the game we simply couldn’t afford to lose. My opinion has always been the latter. Arguably one of our easiest games in the run home and we lost by 50.
But we lost it at selection. Probably the most melt worthy selections I’ve ever come across.
Carlton have a top 4 list and a bottom 4 coach.
Maybe after they talk about how good a job Wazza is doing at North Adelaide.Looking forward to Tredders and Timmy G synopsis this week
Seeing lots of Port associated people like comments such as a pre finals loss being a good thing or be grateful that we got to see 13 in a row.
I have a sinking feeling that the next game we need to worry about will be an EF. What a wasted opportunityDon's getting pansed by the Cats. Looks like we will cop the Cats at cheat Park on fire.
Not sure about being grateful, but it would be ridiculous to think we were gonna continue this streak much longer when blokes are injured & need a rest.Seeing lots of Port associated people like comments such as a pre finals loss being a good thing or be grateful that we got to see 13 in a row.
Time will tell. How they respond to the loss and then play over the next 3 weeks will be more telling. Not sure about being grateful, but it would be ridiculous to think we were gonna continue this streak much longer when blokes are injured & need a rest.
Take it as you like, I've always felt a loss can drain the bathwater & sharpen you at times.. we'll see.
A very classic Hinkley loss that. A big fat "we haven't changed a bit" sort of loss. We've been begging for a smacking since around the bye. Haven't been travelling that great, percentage shows it. I don't think this loss changes our chances in September though, which with Hinkley at the helm, has always been slim.
Yes, owned by de Koning or whatever ha stupid name is, he just positioned himself and jumped laterally at Lycett and it was game over, a proper ruck would have swatted hm like a flyDo you think Lycett should wear a gimp suit
I admire your persistenceLet the idiotic mob have their way, maybe there is also a witch involved that we can burn
No, Jonas played on a decent quality forward, Lycett played on an undersized defender and got ownedHe was WOG by far
And that's just weird - after 13 wins, many of them backs to the wall, you'd have thought the mental fortitude would have definitely been there.Wouldn't have mattered what team we put out today, we would've lost. We just weren't mentally up for it.
