I guess we're heading into off topic territory but I'll say this much noddy.

Your lot have been sustained by hope for the last few years. It remains to be seen whether your current woes are a blip or whether the wheels are falling off your side.

As the long careers of a number of gun players draw to a close does the rest of your squad have the quality to go on without them?
Is Tippett overrated?
Has Rendell drafted the wrong type of player?
These are some of the questions that surround your squad.

Naturally I hope for the worst and I hope there'll be a few years of watching your lot flounder and your supporters to tear at one another's throats.

We'll await developments.

I think the next two years are the wrong time to be pensioning off McLeod, Edwards, Goodwin, Bird Poo and Doughty, assessing ongoing injuries to Stevens, Moran and Henshell (sic) and the inevitable standard % of juniors who show potential and just don't make it.

Cow Mail ...

Back page headline...

'Fans Fury - Craig the target as dire crows hit new low' and pic of a 'meathead' (with a few less teef) giving a serve to 'Cwaigy' as he heads downstairs for 3/4 time huddle :thumbsu: :)

(nothing on Port-front or back page)

Front sports page...

'Crows face finals oblivion' and a 'half-page' pic of a crows red 'panic button' with the headline 'Neil, Its time to hit this'

gold!!!!! :thumbsu: :D

Port - front sports page ... 'Thomas pushes through the pain barrier' and a little pic

Are we playing today?

This is all true but unfortunately there is an even harsher and more sobering reality for the PAFC and its supporters.

I watched the "Fifth Quarter" on Ch10 and the promo at the end of the program for the AFL and its teams did not include one shot of the PAFC - nothing short of a disgrace.

And again.

Can the Crows beat the Blues?
This is the type of shit that so annoyed me in the first few years of the Crows. Ensured I never went to a match and stayed detached from football till Port got the AFL gig.

It's a byproduct of their various SANFL club loyalties. They love to think of themselves as "The Team For All South Australians" but the only thing that really unites them is their common hatred of us, the "ferals". It doesn't take much for a toffy PAC educated Sturt supporter to tee off at a Craigmore High schooled Central fan.

Deep down they all hate each other, and by extension, themselves. Imagine living with that sort of self-loathing. :)

love it - might use this in an argument im having if you dont mind ;-)

Freebie tickets given out and half page advertorials every day in the press last week-that worked well - 38k crowd?

Cant wait for our advertorials imploring us Port fans to come along this week?

As Port supporter you can't really bag anybody on their crowds, but I reckon 38k for the Crows would be worrying for them given that Carlton probably have the biggest supporter base in SA outside the 2 local teams.

heard from a mate that it's neil craig front page

I would be ****ing pissed off if we had beaten geelong and this was the sort of coverage we got. Surprised that the knives aren't out for us yet

As we speak there is not a single article about Ports fantastic win on that joke of a newspapers website.
The Tiser articles don't go online on Sunday. If you want to find them there's an alternative website devoted to all things Port where they are online by early in the day clearly by arrangement with the relevant media organisations.

After last weeks 'classic' panic button pic ... today has half page colored donut (shape = 0, i guess) and says 'showdon donut has xtra signifigance this year for winless crows)
:D:thumbsu:

I loved the way Rucci used virtually the same paragraph in 2 separate articles in today's Tiser. Great journalism lol.

After reading today's CONFIDENTIAL SECTION in the Tiser I learnt that George Fiacchi was a "former Port Adelaide Magpies premiership player".

Perhaps shouldn't have been surprised to read this given who wrote the column .

Nah wasn't referring to Rucci, i was referring to someone contributing to the social pages (CONFIDENTIAL) who i believe is a Crows supporter who previously barracked for Port in the SANFL.

To be fair to Rucci that woulkd be his sub editor stuffing around with his articles not Rucci himself.

I'm confused.
