Wow, had a player sit at the front of the contest instead of going up for it. Wasn't a great kick by Sholl, but at least he didn't take himself out of the play.

He's not a key forward though. He's never been the big guy you can bomb it to.

He's taking up a key forward position and we can't rely on him for stuff like defensive work (or a midfield rotation), so he's judged by key forward metrics.

That said, the same is true of every forward (and every player), the ones you invest in are the ones who find a way to impact the game even if they're getting difficult opportunities to convert.
