Back in hospital, they sent her home by mistake last night. The tests showed she had a kidney infection but some doctor miscommunicated so she got Sent home. Grrr...

Again, keep me updated on all sh#t posting.
Probably the same person that sent Shuey back on before blowing both hammies.

Link to interview with Gavin Bell

• Expects to use up to 35 players on Friday against Port
• Early in the game will maybe have best against best but it’ll chop and change a bit after that. More a training match sim than a game with the possibility that the clubs may train some specific match scenarios
• Allen likely to play but final match committee to determine the side tomorrow after training
• Darling still recovering and targeting round 1 but not a certainty. Wouldn’t rule him out of the Adelaide game either mind you as he stated Darling can be a quick healer
• Chesser making good progress and could be selected for round 1 if his body’s right but stressed how little football he’s played and the need to look after him
• Ginbey, Hewett and Long they’re happy with what they bring
• Yeo closing the gap on his best footy
• Culley impressed from the moment he walked in the club. Does everything he can to get the best out of himself. Definitely in the mix for round 1 but Bell is hoping Simpson has about 30 names to sift through when selecting the round 1 team
• Change in style has focused on transition and hopes fans will see faster ball movement if things come together

Also on that page I’ve linked to is an interview with Samo Petrevski-Seton. What was interesting in that was him referring to his mental health and a comment that last year there was some things away from footy that impacted his performance

I’ll be really happy if he can continue his strong preseason into the season proper and finally unlock the talent that saw him drafted in the top 10. We need some of those mid 20’s guys to jump up to have strong seasons

I never appreciated media breakdowns when I was younger, likely because I consumed everything - but as life gets a bit busier, these are a godsend.

So thanks Keys and everyone who contributes with summaries and training reports. Doing the Lord's work!

Why are we debating this bloke .
Rojo was inadequate in too many areas . He was unaccountable , he wasn't good enough to hurt the other way . His opponent always hurt us .

Which RoJo are we talking about now?

That doesn’t sound like Jones at all.

I sat in the 3rd tier of Subiaco oval for 20 years . I saw every game with a bird's eye view and I saw Rowan Jones and his opponent or lack of one . He jogged all day couldn't catch a cold and couldn't kick over a jam tin .

It's like the Darling mark v Coll.. What if he goaled but the Pies went straight out the middle twice after. Was still 2 mins left

Everything happens for a reason.

That's generous.

He dropped the mark with 1.17 on the clock. By the time he takes his 30 secs plus change there is 40 secs left on the game.

Granted it looked like he was gonna play on, but 10 points with 70 secs is still prob game.

Good demonstration of the whipping boy effect right here.

Some wonderful moments in that 2006 GF. Chicks smother and shepherd, Daniel kerr run through the centre in last which inevitably set up Armstrongs goal.

But thinking about that, we really has to fight in the last and it was Rojo’s contest at the end that saved the match, I think.

To this day though, Kerry’s rove off a quick kick out of defence and delivery to set up Lynch’s third goal remains up there as one of the most skilful moments I’ve ever seen.

(12:15 onwards)

Being at the game that moment of kerrs actually is the one thing that stands out in my memory of that game.. it was sublime…

Chicks smother was practically right in-front of me (cue video) and I can’t recall it at all. Kerrs was 100 metres away and can still picture it clear as day.

I never seen or heard of a jam tin before....how old are you that you bought jam before jars were invented?

I was at the game, right behind that and FWIW I thought it went through.
oh that just makes it more frustrating

Also how funny would it have been had Masto and Tom Cole drilled those goals and we walked in by 30 odd.

Reckon the earlier goals in the 4th qtr go through and the game opens up and we win comfortably. We were all over them really
