Nic had a knee operation roughly two months ago and watching that training snippet he’s clearly still working his way through rehabilitation

It’s mid October. Official preseason training is still 6 weeks away. There’s plenty of time

Clearly he and his teammates are starting training well before time, it’s a good thing

He’s clearly struggled with his weight since he’s knee recons but to use a recent surgery as an excuse is ridiculous. He’s a professional athlete, diet is a huge part of his performance. For too long he’s been given a free ride in the media because of the “Fijian” body shape.

It’s just disappointing because our club depends on his output so badly.

Obviously it’s easier said than done especially from the cheap seats but ffs. Kane Cornes no doubt going to give the fat story another run tomorrow.

Melt over. I hope it’s just a bad angle

Protrudes out the back also. Looks like he's wearing some kind of vest, or something.
Doesn’t look that way in the video footage. It’s just a massive roof over the tool shed.

At least they’re putting in the work but Big Nic looks to be coming from a loooooong way back.

This talk is reminding me of this photo of Grant Hackett

Bloke was fit as a fiddle. Sometimes there are bad angles, swollen muscles due to exercise, bloating, caught at the wrong time, drinking lots of water, what you've eaten etc.

Here is Hackett a couple of days later

Let's just see how it plays out.

Yeo and Darling returned to pre- season training both trim 💪
Lycett in Perth taking snaps for " Kane bloody Cornes "
Bit early for pre- season but good on them for setting a good example !!

2023 Fixture will be available 1st week of December.
Groan - the last thing we need is Carlton shoved down our throats every week. We had a good sesson or two were the AFL finally accepted they were shit and didn't play them every second Friday like usual. Guess those days are over.

Bring on the Eagles playing 8/11 home games at the Sunday graveyard spot. Also 1 or 2 MCG games only.

I'm bullish of Hedwards but I can see Bazzo leap frogging him. With Gov/TB is able to play more like a third tall and even smaller..

I would like to see Bazzo given a role as a pure lockdown FB for a year or two which has been Edwards spot. Fees up Gov & Barrass & and also gets better experience by playing on better forwards.
However- being conservative and going for wins I can see the WAFL waiting for Bazzo.
Realistically our spine is pretty set -barring injuries. No one drafted will demand games over who we have already.

You forgot Culley, probably pushes Sheed to a wing.
