Struggling to see what Narkle adds ?, seems like a list clogger to me.

Prove me wrong.
I didnt think so either but after speaking to Port fans online I was surprised to learn many rated him as a player that was handy to have on a list. After being delisted by Geelog due to off field issues h went to the VFL and he worked hard on his fitness and he became a damaging midfielder. After being drafted in the midseason draft he was able to play 3 games and do well mostly forward. In 2024 he had a couple of injuries in the first 12 game but he came into the team around round 13 and did well playing 8 of his 13 games as a sub. I had a look at his stats and when a sub he got between 4-8 possessions which isnt bad going for a sub. He is still very quick with very good skills which is why he plays sub. I actually think a depth player who can play the sub role is very handy. Bar Wagner and a game by NOD our subs were pretty bad last year.

You’re not wrong regarding impact from the chosen sub. Needs to be someone with speed and versatility. Worner in particular as sub was shocking.

Voss needs a lot more development to get a game every week. However he is young and shows a few good signs that there is an AFL player there if he continues to develop further. He needs a Treacy like improvement in his marking first and foremost. Way too early to give up on him just yet. I am hopeful he can improve significantly over the next couple of years.

The guy still averaged a goal a game despite all the stuff said about him. He's 20/21 and signed up for another two years.

Very happy he's on our list tbh. There isn't many better depth KPFs in the competition and that's all we need him to be.
I dont understand any remote kind of negativity to be honest. What do people expect from your depth KPF? He's basically perfect for that spot on the list

There's no issue at all if he maintains his trajectory. People just saw him do all the hard work to clunk the mark and then spill it - we saw similar with Treacy before, which is exciting for Voss but frustrating in the moment when we really needed that mark.
