Barrett makes some decent points - Lynch etc. The pace bit was interesting though, not sure I totally agreed with it. Taranto and Hopper two pretty well accomplished footballers, be stupid not to go after them.

We need to get games into both Judson Clarke and Jacob Bauer this year. If injuries hit us, just play them. Both have a huge upside long term IMHO.

The two I'm really watching this year as well. Really bullish about Jacob, just a few things I saw him do in the VFL that says to me he knows how to forward. Deft little things we've come to appreciate from Jack and some really good second effort work. With the added beef he's got on him I reckon we'll see him start dominating the 2's and get a look in at seniors at some stage.

I don’t see it that way. Barrett always wrote us off when we were winning premierships, it’s only last 2 years when he started to talk us up that we dropped in performance. Very happy to be back to business as usual

Think Mansell will get games as the tactical sub as well. Will be starting the season as a small forward so gives some flexibility at either end.

Our ball movement creates the illusion of speed/pace. We've never been a notoriously fast team in terms of volume of quick players on the list.
Fully expect our game style to look just as good, if not better with Taranto and Hopper in the mix.
