you underestimate dimmas love for georgie boy

wouldve been a lock
well he dropped him and he didn't get back after that. Now he's dialling up the shit tatts and soft tissue injuries. Can't blame him, three flags maybe the hunger isn't there anymore

With Castagna rated as 'Medium Term' would that be enough to put him on the LTI and then take both Bradtke and Narkle. Reassess mid season
How does that work?
Could we add 2 players?
Smith is the other one with a LTI. Not sure you’d classify Georgies hammy as long term.
Yesteryear you’d just elevate someone from the rookie list

I believe the LTI list is now the Inactive list and means you're out for the year (and can be replaced by a supplementary player prior to the season, or once the season starts, in the mid year supp draft) and can't play for the rest of the season (Williams for Carlton is now on the Inactive list and that opened up the extra spot there). Rookies can automatically play seniors now, they don't have to be upgraded to play.

I hate seeing any players go down because it diminishes the pressure for spots. One of the most exciting elements of this preseason is the standard of training and the demand for excellence that is occurring. That competition for a position is crucial to long term success and the longer we can sustain that battle across the squad, the more chance we have to maintain the rage and cover the enviable injuries.

While, George has his detractors, his determination to win back his place in the team was a great example and pressure on those competing for a similar role as him.

Is this the Barrett everyone is talking about?

“Tigers fans get your head around it”.

What a faarkwit. Like fans of a club need to be told what to think. Fans know their team better than these morons.

The arrogance of it. There’s more accredited AFL journalists than players; they should trim about 90% of them. And how anyone employs Barrett, I’ll never know.

This is why Kane is a plonker

Why would you bet to do something you actually like doing, like run.

You wanna impress me, eat a bucket of KFC if Cotch kicks 25 goals, dont promise to go for a run, that you would do anyway.

No one GAF !

I don't mind it. He made a call, didn't have to do anything but he's volunteered himself for a bit of embarrassment. It's a bit of silly buggers, 8 laps of TAN gives plenty of opportunity to snap photos of him in Cotchin's guernsey which is punishment enough for a Tiger hater.
That’s right. The punishment isn’t the run, it’s wearing Cotch’s jumper.

Probably his last year at Richmond and maybe AFL. I would like to see him be able to have a decent shot at it.

He needs to show something in VFL and if he does then I wouldnt begrudge him winning a spot if he put some super form together but I hope we dont need him.

Never want for a Richmond player to suffer an injury. Try not to will it on opposition players also.

1 How the AFL ever employed him is a mystery & 2. After getting anything to with us so wrong for so long how is he still in that same role? That goes for many in the media.

LTI/Inactive list is an 8 week minimum.

LTI/Inactive list is an 8 week minimum.
They're two different things.

LTI list is now minimum 6 week injury (changed in 2017) and is only used to replace an injured player with a Cat B rookie, as all other rookies can play any time. E.g. if Gibcus' hammy was going to take more than 6 weeks we could elevate Colina so he'd be eligible to play in the senior side.

The inactive list is used for season ending injuries, as once you're placed on there you can't return for the rest of the year. If a player is placed on the inactive list you can replace them by bringing in a new Cat A rookie either during the SSP period or through the midseason draft.

So what's the 8 week minimum requirement for Inactive list then? I thought LTI was scrapped.

If you're placed on the inactive list you're out for the season.

LTI hasn't been scrapped. It was changed to 6 weeks and now only applies to cat B rookies because cat A rookies can play any game now without having to be elevated.
