Training Pre Season '23

I am starting to get worried now with the amount of necessary players that are not in Full training. We need that full preseason into Prestia and Lynch (most important).

I have a stone in my gut that our backline is going to be as unsettled as it was last year with the players that are being reported as injured.

I saw a good game from him. Obviously OMac injured meant a pinch hitter rucked. 1.96cm vs Nank 199cm. Nank not much leap. But 13 hit outs to advantaqe, Neale & Zorko 8 centre clearances. Nank 5. Prestia 4, Cotch 3.

Nank & Miller 55 Hit outs b/n them.

Neale 15 clearances. Is that on a slow ruck, Nank or Prestia, Cotch, Ross, Sonz? Nank actually got 9, Prestia 6, Sonz Kmac, Cotch 4 each. We lost that stat by 6.


Chuck in a lazy 26 disposals. 3 tackles.

3 tigers boundary side and he hits Neale the lone lion consistently, so yes I’d say he was shit.

Freak accident, you rarely see it. Apparently, both went in for rockstar knee slides along the turf and collided at the knees doing both ACLs, PCLs, RAV4s, BBQs and contracting a lapful of STDs.

Don't mind the idea of Mansell as a small pressure forward.

He's a tad too undisciplined and over boisterous in defence and needs to clean that part of his game up a bit.

He'd cost less goals from frees up forward and would help keep the ball in the forward half with his hustle and chasing.

I guess that’s the theory behind it. He is never going to be a star but he’s a great team man and depth player, happy to play any role asked of him.
