Reports from training yesterday was that he did the warm up then he (and Graham) did a power of running. Sprints and laps and simulation leads up to the wing flat out then doubling back to lose his man.
Apparently he did the entire 150min session (inc warm up) either doing laps or sprints so he look likely to be fit enough. It will depend on, how he pulls up from a big session, how good his touch is and if he can get some matchplay under his belt.
The only other factor would be if the MC just don't think he's ready R1 and it's a long season. They may not want to rush him, but they've had since Xmas to get him ready for R1 and he looks on track.
