Can someone block this campaigner from the thread. It’s preseason take your ******* bitch ass whinging somewhere else. I’m guessing your poor wife has already had a guts full so maybe go annoy the homeless. Prick.
Yeah, well said. Jeez I get so tired of those negative campaigners. Just wish they'd get the f*** back to the Facebook comments sections where they belong.

Life as a Tiger is very good. Hasn't always been, but it is now, and has been for quite some time.

Extra umpire could just watch the player that is standing the mark.
At the moment 3 refs in b-ball and umps in AFL work in triangle to see the play..
4 umps on a footy field is new dynamics.
With the extra ump, is there any chance one can watch for when the player with the mark or free kick goes off their line.

They play on and the man/statue on the mark is left stranded and powerless.

55m out from goal becomes 45 before the idiot says “play on”.
Anyone know bench sizes for NM game?
I know last year it was like 6 qtrs and the VFL team played the last 3?
Or is it just a normal game?

Side note, a 4th umpire may find all the missed free kicks we have? Am I crazy?
Noticed tomorrow’s teams have named about 35. Periods 5 and 6 will look a lot different to the start.
Came to look for any word on if that sh*tc*nt Tom Lunch is any chance for rd 1, left with 8000 Dimma on the bongs memes. Thanks lads.
Probably also left stumbling, trying to find your way out.

I been saying it that originally we drafted Cumberland as a mid
Kid is armed with weapons

Kid has it all to be top 10 player in league imo
Top 10? Settle down.

On Soldo, even with some improvement on last years form (and there should be some) I reckon Miller provides far more flexibility to the side.

For me Soldo is a capable back up number 1 ruck who at a pinch can stand in a forward pocket.

Miller is a capable number 2 ruck that is also serviceable as a forward or defender. He is far more mobile than Soldo and has much better kicking ability. His disposal coming off half back was a thing of beauty in a few VFL games last year.

I hope Miller retains his spot in the starting 22.
The other factor with Miller forward is the pressure he is able to add at ground level for a big bloke. His speed and agility means he is more like a mid/small in that department, a pretty important factor given Jack's age and you really don't want Lynch wasting his energy doing it.

I actually think Soldo is better than Nank against very tall ruckman. If we were to play against Melbourne with Grundy and Gawn, I think that Soldo would be first pick
Round 6 last year vs Melbourne,
Nank had 22 disposals vs Gawn 19.
Nank 6 marks vs 8 Gawn
Nank 24 hit outs vs 30 Gawn
Game rating Nank 111 vs Gawn 119.

So very little in it, what I thought on the night without the stats to back it up.
The only ruck Nank really struggles against in top flight is Naitanui, join the queue

Good thing about Naitanui is he only plays about 60% game time. So if you can nullify his influence you then have complete ruck/midfield control when he spends large amounts of time off the ground.

Dusty back in full flight according to that jesus guy from the punt Rd end forum

will need several boxes of tissues
A slightly more informed opinion that the writer in The Age who suggested when writing about who will be our 'swingman' this season, suggested that Jason Castagna could be important for the Tiges as a high half forward. For one thing is that a swingman, and two maybe he missed the 158 page Castagna thread on our board.

Castagna is our barometer in reverse.
If he is getting games then we are in trouble.
