Should be a lot further in front. 2 posters to us and 3 arsy goals to Port

+ : Fyfe, Darcy, the midfield, Cox, Treacy, Schultz, Young, Chapman, Hughes, Wilson

Henry has been busy but lets himself down sometimes with disposal. Walker has not been great

Hughes has looked good as well as the guys others have mentioned.

On a side note, I have always found it strange how people discuss fyfe "learning" the forward craft. He was drafted as a forward, and has been extremely dangerous when very he played forward during his prime. It's not about learning forward craft it's purely getting used to his body and gaining confidence. Great signs that quarter.

It would take a mental adjustment to go from having the club on your back as an onballer getting 30+ to be effective, to being a role player only needing 8 touches and 3 goals to do his part.

I am not convinced about Walker, love his atttribute of speed and positioning in the back half -BUT when he has the ball for more a second he shits his dacks and invariably turns it over in an extremely dangerous position.
Unless he can tidy this up, he will really cost us - hopefully not at an important moment in a game….

1. The game has changed massively with leading patterns and positioning etc.
2. The forward personnel has changed so he's got to learn to work in with the other forwards and,
3. As you say, his body has changed along with his movement and pace, so he needs to re-learn forward craft that suits his ability etc.

Agree - at this stage Wilson is a much better option
