Start McCartin forward. Not sure why everyone seems to be pencilling him in as a defender when there are so many more DEF rookies than FWD rookies. Just because he plays there in real life doesn't mean you need to play him there in your SC side.

Chad Wingard's Supercoach career (or lack thereof) has been such a tease. He hasn't been any good up forward since about 2015. He's been a consistent 100+ ppg scorer as a midfielder every time he's got an extended run there, both at Port and at Hawthorn. Every offseason I think maybe this is the one where it finally clicks, but every time Round 1 comes around he finds himself reduced to a bit part player in a forward pocket while limited triers like Conor Nash and Jai Newcombe get extended midfield minutes. It's baffling.

Too much of a one-way runner? Lots of mid options now at the Hawks, he's not getting back in there anytime soon, if ever

One of McCartin/SDK back and the other forward seems the safe play, pending other cheaper rookies with more scoring potential popping up.

Rioli has only played 15 minutes or so. Rioli is ahead of Ralphsmith but Ralphsmith may still get a game.

Edit: sorry I was looking at Maurice Rioli's minutes.
There may be room for both Dan Rioli and Ralphsmith
