West Coast in their current circumstance can’t seriously be considered a big game. It would be like big noting a player for being BOG against Carlton through the early 2000’s. Fodder for the fans but really it’s not a reflection of big game ability. He won 2 Derby medals over there which obviously means he was BOG in 2 big games at least. His F50 pressure is insane. He'll be better this year than last. Im chips in on him this year. Ridiculously harshly judged last year IMO. Hes a small/mid sized forward. Like our Norm Smith winner some weeks they're invisible, its the nature of the position. Our coach knows the deal and understands luckily
12:30 mondays generally. About an about. It’s probably asked a tonne on here so apologies for those whose time I’m wasting in making this post, but could someone in the know please let me know what days the club trains? Specifically, how frequently and what time on a Monday?
Have a few Mondays free in the next little bit and would love to take the kids down.
Yeah i know the Derby was a flimsy argument but being BOG as small forward in any AFL game isn't easyWest Coast in their current circumstance can’t seriously be considered a big game. That said, Schulz was important late against Brisbane this year so there’s indications in support of what you’re saying.
Brilliant, thank you.12:30 mondays generally. About an about.
Otherwise, tuesdays and fridays 9:30am.
Absolutely.Yeah i know the Derby was a flimsy argument but being BOG as small forward in any AFL game isn't easy
He played his best footy last year as a deep forward target. He struggled with linking up and using the footy when playing a ground level half forward role.Nobody gets out of a Shoota tackle.
He'll be so much better this year, as he won't need to play as a KPF because all of ours are injured.

I've made this observation elsewhere, but he looked like he was just panicking with the ball.He played his best footy last year as a deep forward target. He struggled with linking up and using the footy when playing a ground level half forward role.
Honestly the amount of fuss over a player not re-signing 2 years early is weird. Mostly driven by desperate Freo fans as far as I can see.So I just spoke to an old school friend who has worked at Collingwood now for 8 years (trainer) i asked if bobby will leave
He said no chance he leaves
It's all bollacks
It’s funny because I remember him collecting the ball through the center and having a couple of bounces through traffic and nailing a goal against us for Freo.He played his best footy last year as a deep forward target. I hadn't paid any attention to him whilst he was at Freo. With the hype he was getting and sense that other clubs were pissed off that we got him, I was surprised that he was so uncomposed with the footy. I suspect he struggled with the pressure of expectations and extra spotlight that came with a move to the Pies. Hoping he feels more settled this year so the awesome effort and intensity is matched with better ball use. It’s funny because I remember him collecting the ball through the center and having a couple of bounces through traffic and nailing a goal against us for Freo.
He used to play quite well against us so good in pressure games.

Kind of feel the outside view of the way Pies move it made him feel like everything had to go at warp speed.
His field kicking in particular was far below what he produced at Freo.
Even the check side goal against Bris was made after Elliot salvaged a scrubber kick over 15m.
Really looked like he was trying too hard and he rarely looked sure and composed with the ball in hand. Something he did at Freo.
Having said that, i suspect is was a massive change coming from the way Freo moved it in '23.
At worst...we get what we got last year. Which i'm fine with.
I get the feeling he'll settle a bit this year and will tidy up the field kicking, which was his major area for improvement last year.
I’m not sure it was coming to the pies necessarily rather than the popular opinion across the media (social included) that we overpaid in the trade.I hadn't paid any attention to him whilst he was at Freo. I think a fit Mihocek, McStay and potentially Membrey or a combination of 2 of those even is a serious weapon for us too. Checkers and McStay have played about 3 minutes together it seemsCompletely agree, well worded.
Just looked like he was having to force everything, no freedom.
I’m loving the potential mix up front this year, think our smalls are going to destroy teams.

I'm sure Shoota & Bobby would appreciate having a few more fit, experienced forwards around them. Hopefully that's this yearI think a fit Mihocek, McStay and potentially Membrey or a combination of 2 of those even is a serious weapon for us too.
