Yes, that might be true. I personally think Perryman will be more important to our chances than some of similar vintage players such as Schultz and Lipinski.

Me too. Ball movement is the big area of improvement from last year. Perryman and Houston will be important. So will having bigger options available ahead of the ball.

Perryman.. what really is to say. He does well without standing out. Which is how he has been his whole career.

We need that to change this season. He needs to go to the next level, which I am hopeful he can give the midfield jets in front of him at Giants. Prepare for a media onslaught about his salary if he does not become at least a top 10 player on our list

They cant be all Fonzy's like Nick and Jordy. We need a few reliable Richie Cunningham's to win a flag also
Potsie: Lipinski?
Ralph: Mrakov?

He reminds me of a WHE type. Versatile role player who flys under the radar

I do wonder if we'll see Perryman doing a few run with roles. Tagging is back in vogue with some teams even going the double tag last season. Fly hasn't previously shown much inclination to shut an oppo player down, but Perryman can do that and win a bit of the pill whilst doing so. Is also deceptively strong. Talking of run with roles, I think McCreery certainly has that capability, whilst also having the speed and strength to burst from stoppages and hurt the other team offensively.

I thought we found our tagger in Sidebum last year?

Yeah, I think he'll share the unsung defensive mid or run-with roles to ease Pendle's load.
