Took the kids to Healesville Sanctuary yesterday. One of the Kangaroos hopped from the eastern side of the enclosure to the western side, kicked the living shit out of a duck that happened to be in a remote, boring part of the area, looked menacingly at some bloke in a purple singlet with an anchor tattooed on his arm, and then hopped back to the eastern side, still staring at the man as if daring him to come over.

Easy to forget that this year we lost both Narni & Patch. Heart and soul players for our beloved Roos. Makes what comes next even more remarkable.
