We should all celebrate this magnificent piece of BS from The Age:

"In the Magpies’ favour on Saturday is that the clash will almost certainly be a sellout - and playing before huge crowds is something this side has become accustomed to, particularly in recent weeks."

Oh yeah, no side in history has ever played in front of a big crowd, and no way has any Sydney team ever played to a packed SCG.
LMAO.

Apparently McRae is bringing in actual Aussie rules footballs for his side to practice with this time as well, so look out!

How dumb do you have to be to not go: "Right team, we are playing on a ground that is slightly different sized. So we have put cones around the outside to map the size of the new ground. Practice on it all week"
?

Nothing more than mind games to try and restore his players confidence against us.

"Don't worry boys, it wasn't that they're better, it's just that their ground is weird and I didn't tell you about it, plus we had the sniffles and poor Crispy was confused when I moved his magnet on the board. We'll belt them this time, I promise".

finals football is just about intensity. Pressure is always higher than a home and away match, even when played between the same 2 teams

Correct and its two sides to the coin, the increased pressure and intensity on one side and being able to do the basics over and over confidently despite the increased pressure and intensity on the other. If a team can accomplish this the best then they have what it takes to win in finals

Buckley on SEN talking sense
That’s good because yesterday he was talking complete dribble. Talking about last weeks games he had Geelong playing Melbourne saying May destroyed Hawkins ? I thought we played Melbourne and May done a number on Franklin ???? Must have had a big Sunday night.

Was much better today , the thing is that he gives a modern view having just left coaching

I was desperate for someone outside of 7 or Fox to get the rights so it would mix up the media a bit

Why would that mix it up? It'd be the same commentators moving to new stations, like Huddo moving from 10 to Fox.

BravePies is well and truly on but something inside me believes we are better equipped to handle 3 extra players in yellow having a love in for the other team recently. We did okay in round 22 and the qualifying final. Have to be up by 30-35 at 3QT to mitigate this though.

Unless you happen to be the Fremantle Dockers. Then just play it like it's a preseason game.

Why is it always us that has to cop playing against a Brave side. Sigh.. something tells me HTB will be dead for the pies

We will lose this game. It's literally 2016 all over again. To paraphrase that old adage, if someone - or in this case, an organisation like the AFL - shows you who they really are, believe them.
Equally, there’s also parallels between this game and Melbourne’s 2018 Prelim.

I like the idea of all the hype being around Collingwood. Too much hype could lead to a screwjob though.
