So does that mean you can actually get 4 tix (as a family) with one barcode?

It says you have to apply it against each barcode so I’m guessing not.

I still can’t believe we’re short priced favourites to progress to a grand final.

If you pop out before the game to get, ahem, prepared, just make sure you remember where your hotel is, what it's called, what your own name is, etc.

It’s top of the wing so I’m assuming it’s also the best area to see the game.

Shame the facilities there are not designed for AFL games!

I read it differently.. ie, using that individual (1) barcode you can activate family pass for 2 adults + 2 juniors..
Would be interesting to know if someone else wants to try... I'm sure they won't have any issue getting rid of extra tickets!

I had my list of barcodes in a plain text document ready to go before I went on the Ticketek website, and just copied and pasted them into the password box, was much quicker.

I'm an anxious person by nature so knowing I had them ready given the time limit helped a lot.

I got my tickets after a few crashes. But I'm in Bay 1, does that mean I'll be surrounded by Collingwood fans? I was just so relieved I got through that I just bought the tickets first up without looking too much.

Well done. Strangely or maybe my lack of PC knowledge but I did not get a chance to select Bays. Just category. Said you maybe able to look for other tickets then no way of doing it.

Up in the Trumper stand for us Bay 316. It'll do sir, it'll do. Watching us slay the pies is the main part!

I was on laptop, got through 10:16 and got 7 tickets category 2
Jumped back on, as well as phone, and phone got through at 10:26 got 2 tickets category 1

And friends were still in queues

I dont mind the Trumper Stand to be honest - certainly with a big crowd, it helps for getting out for the drive home to Canberra (Just those extra few minutes to get around from the Red Zone can add a whole lotta time on getting out of the carpark and on the road.

Not that we will be leaving quickly on Saturday night - I look forward to singing the song and watching the cold pies cry on their way home.

Hope the congestion dies down by 12 for SCG member tickets. Got the two Swans tickets after a battle. It's such a weird set up because if you go into the 'queue' too early you time out after 10 mins so can't wait there for tickets, you have to time it right so you're stuck in the queue and get through within 10 mins of them going on sale. Will have to queue up at about 11.30 and hope for the best.

You can select bays - I certainly did when I bought mine this morning (within whatever category you want), as I dared to take on the ticketek system and send back tickets a couple of times (when it would only give me tickets at the very, very back of the section) - ended up getting about 12 rows further forward by trying a few different bays in the Trumper Stand.

That’s annoying because I never got the option of refusing tickets.
