Can't see how it won't be. Only 28K between the two clubs.

Might be some random tickets left for general admin - or maybe they'll hold some back. Who frigging knows. About as much transparency on this stuff as there was on our trade ban.

I suspect they've pegged 14k as their best estimate of what the Pies members will take up, based on history (specifically, in the 2012 prelim they seemed to have 10 to 15k of the 57k crowd), so they've set the initial 50:50 members allocation based on that. Once that's over, they'll do SCG trust, then presumably release the rest of the tickets as GA.

Funny part about it I coached a fair bit of footy and never got nerves before big games. Just goes to show what The Swans mean to me I suppose. Would lose games on the weekend but if The Swans got up it was always Worlds all good again.

Same here.

Everyone who knows me well always says I'm one of the most calm and even keeled people they know. Very, very little in life phases me, but put me in front of a swans game (or a ticketek loading screen) and it's a very different story.

Only thought about this during the week when I realised The Temper Trap were playing GF Day. For 10 years my daughters have constantly reminded me about how good that day was with one of their favourite bands playing their hit Sweet disposition with us winning the flag. 10 years down the track, finishing 3rd playing Pies in the Prelim and Temper Trap will be there again in 2 weeks.

It is written.

So will we watching history repeat.

Homebush is the same length as the MCG but 23 metres narrower, the smallest in area of the AFL grounds used in the last few years.

Same in 2012 to some degree. Some of the biggest moments in the Grand Final were all about doing the basics well. Add to that a never say die attitude and you can go a long way.
