Well I almost gave up after 2020, since I didn't make the grand final after playing in it the past 5 years so I thought the team was on the way down as it was getting older. I played one more year and won, which was quite surprising as all my main players were in their late 20s by then.

Just keep playing, its fun to see other player develop and see what goes on.
So lucky I uploaded my 2069 Save, time to recover it.

True, but my favourite part of the game is Trade week and it becomes less enjoyable when you do not know much about most of the players outside of stars and those who play or have played for you.
 
Have had my eye on this game for a while - Love the football manager games. Is this similar? Is it worth getting?

Its a great game but unfortunately the servers to register the game have been taken down and I'm not sure if they're back up or when they will come back up. So until until then I wouldn't properly get it unless someone knows how to bypass it.

Thanks for the heads up Collingwood pro - after there yearly versions? I see there is a 2011, is there perhaps a newer version coming out?

Their is meant to be a 2013 game coming out but that is looking less and less likely. May come out next year, they guy who makes the games said their was going to be 2012 game but that was pushed back. Really no one really knows because their hasn't been much communication besides a tweet saying that its still in the pipeline and might be released sometime in the middle of the year or released next year. There is a 2010 game but apparently its really glitchy and about half as good as 2011.

Thanks for the info - I might try and email the developers and see if I can get some more info. Hope they make another one, sounds like a fun game and the only decent coaching simulator out there

I do have a way to bypass the activation providing you do have the game, however it hasn't worked for the past 6 people, No idea why, But if do get it working for them again then I can also help you guys get it working. I know the trick still works as I can still play it on my 3rd computer, and alot of other people can still play it, just need to see whats happening with these other people.

I'd love a fix too if possible, I have emailed the developers asking for a license file but got no reply. Kind of a crappy thing for them to leave so many people who paid for the product high and dry.

Cheers uncustom. I might wait a bit and see if this fix works for other people (don't want to buy the game if it won't work haha).

Hopefully it does though - maybe your fix is dependent on which operating system people are using?
 
Hey thanks uncustom sounds cool. Hopefully it works, at least i have it installed on my old computer so i can still play it :) but my old computer sucks. Also I dont know if this has any relevance (no idea on this type of computer things) but could the problem be the new windows 8.

My instructions are for Windows 7 however it can be done with xp, its just that its different of where to change the setting on xp, It should work for Windows 7 and xp and probably Vista, It should work on Mac, but I haven't tried finding how to change the setting needed to get the game working.

Your actaully the first one in sometime that has had the game before on an old computer, if you have the old computer or atleast a backup of the activated game, it will make it easier, and it should work.
 
hey thanks for the help uncustom. My old computer has windows 7 but it doesn't work that well (crap model computer but it works some how I have no idea why it still works :D). For the registry thing will it work on windows 8. Cheers
 
It should work on windows 8, It isn't that hard because the main part of it is changing an internet setting, I haven't really used windows 8, but I can probably search up how to get to this setting on windows 8, hopefully its similar to xp/7.

PM me showing proof that you have the game (The picture of the cd or the email if you purchased online), whether or not you still have access to atleast 1 of the 2 computers, and the operating system of that computer.
 
Let me know how you go, and what you do if you happen to get it to work MitchM. I am one that has tried uncustoms way and failed, hopefully it's just something I have messed up. Cheers.

The other guy has the game activated, so he doesn't have to use my code or anything, that means that it should work for him, No idea why it isn't working for you, It has worked for both the people who had activated the game, and for people who haven't activated the game. There is a possibility that there has been a change in the activation system that doesn't allow people to play their game if they use my instructions unless they have activated and played the game on another computer.
 
Drafted a 17 year old KPF at Pick 2 in 2011 on my Launceston File on the Leagues and Stories board. He has played 9 seasons so far, played 213 games and kicked 827 goals. He has kicked 50 goals in every season he has played (including debut), and has kicked 100 goals in the last 5 seasons. He has won the Coleman 4 times, 3 time Best and Fairest, 3 time All Australian, and a 5 time premiership player.

All this by the time he is 26. :D
