Wouldn’t say no. We’ve definitely lacked some speed out of stoppages as we’ve progressively traded away all our wing options.

Apparently Bo Allan is training with us. Is he another son of Ben? Half of the other clubs are getting kids of former players to train with them, only difference is they get to recruit theirs.

We have not "progressively traded away" - Those players would have left regardless and forces us to recoup something, not decisions the club wanted to do in most cases. Your forgetting that players have more control over their careers now.

Don't think he is another son considering he plays at Peel. He is a 189cm third tall defender and 1 of only 2 WA players selected in the 2024 AFL Academy. The other one is Champion (small forward) who is training with WC. Looks like 2024 is shaping up to be slim pickings for high end local talent.

Breaking Davies' ankles isn't that impressive either but I still like the intent and composure. The over-bouncing is typical of young players trying to prove themselves but the coaches will ween him off it eventually.
