Watching Chappy fully fit is exciting.
It’s like having a new player straight into the b22. Watching him collect ground balls avoid traffic and deliver into the 50 was elite. His class stood out around the rest.
Wagner has a serious set of wheels and can really move. His change of direction and short darts exiting the 50 looked to be something they are working on. Our Saad ?
Walks also doing the same. No Young in these drills so can maybe start to assume he’s FT mid. Was only one session tho…
JT looks like a seasoned vet, chats it up, goes full tilt every drill. Impressive, coming from the rookie draft to establish himself so early on. Could see him in the leadership group soon.
Youngy working with the mids kicking off his right boot half the time and nailing them was a laugh. Really adds a different dimension to the group.
Thought this was ironic but end of session was a handball receive to shot on goal. Sharp one of 2 who was attempting to bang them from 50. Which he did with ease. Promising sighs early.
Draper has all the tools. Hopefully can put it together. Reminds me of an nba prospect who can jump & shoot but doesn’t really translate to games.
Wasn’t the most intense session assume winding down before Chrissy break. So not to much to be bummed about.
Few big dawgs off legs, assume it’s precautionary at this time of year, bar Fyfe who was flying. (Cant help myself but get my hopes up)
Didn’t see cox at all…
One thing that stood out and I don’t wanna trash the young bloke but can maybe see why Murph slid, especially considering the demand for KPDs.
Bigs separated at beginning of session for sprint drill and he was considerably slower than the rest, and was no taller than Draper or Davies.
Word floating around the ground was they are back at freo oval Monday for another sesh if anyones interested.
Sweet, who’s bringing the schnitzel sandwiches and vanilla slices ???Ill see you down at Freo oval on Monday

What time does it start?I bags the coffee's
So I guess the slices are on you
Maybe overly optimistic, but training observers just post what they see.Great work!! I’ve been hanging to hear a few individual write ups to see how guys are tracking.
As an “offender” last year of overly optimistic pre-season reports I’ve been desperate for some this year given I can’t get down due to work commitments.
Especially great to hear both Chappy and Fyfe in full swing, massive ins if both firing to their potential.
Ps - the “promising sighs” slip pretty much encapsulates us as Freo supporters

What time does it start?
I've asked a family member who works at Freo to confirm training days. I'm off work from this Friday, so getting down to a training session may be a possibility next week.Late mail:
