Even when one savvy person posted in the BigFooty AFL Forum on October 5 about the Hawk star moving west, few bothered to take it seriously.

See, based on the GC game I think there's certain parts of the club (ie the coach who is changing Priddis' role) that would agree with Mitchell being more useful than Priddis.

The trigger in his previous contract theory seems to be the most logical explanation.

Which probably explains a more recent push to attempt to use Priddis elsewhere since Simmo / coaching staff are stuck with him.

If so the announcement in the OP is entirely misleading and reflects very poorly on the communications staff at the club.

It was announced as "news" and was done with a touch of fanfare.

If it was just the activation of milestone clauses in an old contract then they should tell us that instead of feeding us bullshit.

I think they had to rush the interview because Simmo was late. They usually cover a few topics. I was hoping they would ask about some of the younger players.

Do youse think maybe there is some play by priddis and mgt to put the pressure on WCE and or Mitchell to sign or not to sign next year too. To "get in first" ? If it's him exercising sine kinda extra year clause?? It's clearly not working out for pritta having Mitchell in the team. (No shit)
