Overage kid who was on the cusp of being recruited last year. I guess you could say this was a weak draft and therefore the overage kids were at an advantage but you can only play well and this kid did that plus some. Big boy whose body would be ready for an AFL senior game who is very mobile (tested super well at SS) and can play ruck and fwd. He is not dissimilar to Lade in that way and he would be well worth a punt at this stage of the rookie. He also has a very accurate kick…again like Lade. People will say how much development is left but look these tall kids need time and he will learn how to position himself better and make use of his physicality.

Over age player for Stingrays in 2009 whose clean finishing skills were obvious, booting 41.14 for the season. His 3.04 sec for the 20m was very good for tall player at Victorian screening.
