Have a look and let us know what you think. I have looked at Beenleigh's draw and with only 3 home games in the first half of the season could be tough to go in to the second half if they can't get soem big away scalps including Redcliffe and Pine Rivers. Will be interesting.

Any ladder predictions?

Seems to say that it's a preliminary draw, with the finalised one to be published in February. Good to get a rough idea of how it will all sit though!

Beenleigh-very quiet, new coach, expecting a strong finish
Redcliffe-some quality players, consistent group, hungry for wins
Pine Rivers-always strong, solid game style, tough assignment at home
G/Moorooka-another step forward, building
Ipswich-a smokey, always competitive
Logan-new coach, hopefully play more unified footy
Carrara-very quiet, probably need some key recruits
UQ-who knows? Need a consistent group
Park Ridge-new club building, settling required
Jimboomba-complete unknown, will need regular quality depth

All based on opinion of course, pretty tough to predict, local footy has too many variables, 2 walk-ins could change a side completely.

Hey Mighty, firstly all the best with the new set-up, I used to enjoy the contest against the Leopards! 2 questions mate, as previously asked by others: the leopard burger? New name, same great feed? And what strip will u guys roll out this season?
 
Howdy all, well I can put to rest all your fears about the WFLB and confirm the "BBQ CREW" are back on board for 2014. So yes the World Famous Pirate Burger will still be available, aaaarrrrr!!!!! Looking forward to getting some facility stuff sorted so we can then make sure ALL our games are there!

Well now I must check the fixture & see if Redcliffe will play there...worth the trip, good local footy, a few frothies & 2 x WFPB!! New strip mate or for the first season an eye patch drawn on the leopard? ;)

Too many unknowns for my mind.

Redcliffe is back and you would assume very capable of a top 2 finish
Pine Rivers I would expect to get overflow from north side clubs in the reshuffle
Moorooka were big improver's last year and will be dangerous
Logan you just never know
Beenleigh we are rebuilding essentially but should still be competitive and I would hope to make finals and go as deep as possible
Park Ridge is this essentially going to be Calamvale again? Would hope they are more competitive and still a good bunch of blokes.
Jimboomba New Kids on the bloke, depth could be a problem, will be interesting to see how they go.
Cararra Last year were alright a lot of young kids will be interested to see how they go. If they stick with the kids they could be very unstoppable in 2-4 years time.
UQ with their 1 & 2 team draining resources (not officially said by UQ) could be tough on the lower sides. Any word on how things are shaping up at Oval 7?

Stranger things have happened, "bro". With the increased playing standard for our higher teams I'd hope there's a greater pool of talent at the club. The increased commitment required to play at that level might also mean that a couple of players who would otherwise be up to QAFL standard chose to play QAFA instead.

That's the case for me, played 1's and 2's for UQ last year but don't have the time to train as often as is required to play at QAFL level.
