Dont get me wrong, it's been enjoyable reading, but today's result, be it a practice match or not, shows just how big the gap is between divisions. As for Wingman, everyone's entitled to a bad day.

Don't think I agree.

The Moreton side this year will be a completely different unit to what Caboolture were putting out there last year and many would have been out to put in an impressive showing for their new coach.

Redcliffe probably at the opposite end of the spectrum, adter a Top 3 finish, a recently flooded field and clubhouse and a few senior players not suiting up. doesn't take much for hidings like that to happen.

Redcliffe Tigers for the spoon. So when everyone plays them remember its a good time to rest some guns and trial some youth and 2's players......

Hahaha thats a good decision im sure the boys at redcliffe will be happy to play everyones shit side...remember its only February you muppet im sure we wont be taking redcliffe lightly this year...

So, looking at the pre-season cup first round, do you think the Tigers will go in stronger to that game, against the Woodsmen ?? Were there some injuries involved with some players not playing ??
Sorry mate, I missed your question. I'd like to think so, there were definitely a decent number of senior players missing but I'm not sure as to the individual reasoning. Might have to make a few calls during the week and see how the boys are shaping up.

Any news from the Ipswich camp? Personally I'm excited to see how they go, I watched them against the Tigers at Rothwell last season and liked the way the forced the game, took it on and took risks with the ball. The main issue they had were turnovers, a missed handball or overuse through the centre.
Bond Uni - an internal Uni side or is there some talent from the outside also? Young side?
Vic Point - older side?
Wynnum - Depth improved?
Carrara - confusing side, seen little of them but appear to rely on a handful of players rather than a consistent 22.
Redcliffe, Pine & Griffith - plenty already said
Pirates - picked up a couple, better depth?
The Suns - these guys could be good, very interested to see what style of footy they play
Beenleigh - year of improvement?

Bond Uni generally is made up of I'd say 90% of students, although most of them are from the southern states and young and generally pretty good quality.

Suns depth will really be tested. I've heard they are still recruiting which isn't a good sign now that we're already in March.

Carrara I've heard have picked up a few that can take the load off those handful of players. Consistency will be the key.

Ipswich will be a little stronger but think they will fall just short.

Park Ridge is Peck playing again?

Beenleigh sound like they're struggling again although they can't really get much worse than last year.

Not sure about the other teams so will just leave them out for now.

Predicted ladder:
GM
Ipswich
Pine Rivers
Redcliffe
Carrara
Suns
Park Ridge
Wynnum
Bond Uni
Vic Point
Beenleigh

Who has the best/easiest draw? I see a few teams have 3 or 4 away games in a row which doesn't make sense. Looks like Carrara have to play at GM, Suns and Pine Rivers 3 weeks in a row
