Well there we have it, no need to keep score in the ressies, no need for a ladder, in fact, no need for 2's at all. I wonder how many clubs would start stacking their thirds?
For originality, it's probably right up there with the best ideas I've read this year.

If someone won't play reserves because there's no reserves finals then he isn't the type of player you want at your club anyway, reserves should be for player development, former senior players whom are now older blokes wanting to still have a kick n seniors returning from injury to get some form back, reserves finals are a waste of resources n money for the club with no return for their investment.
No one goes to a finals series to watch reserves, Infact reserves finals can be a blight on the promotion of that League, the time space better utilise for 3rds footy to get some exposure.

Reserves footy has its place but not come finals time.

Everything said regarding no finals for reserve grade is ridiculous. Some of the stupidest material on the forum to date and that's a fairly tough mantle to take over.

We play footy for our love of the game and our passion! We play for our mates and the guernsey we put on every Saturday. If we are reduced to running out in a Saturday just to have a kick with no reward or anything to work towards how are blokes suppose to maintain that passion, that pride in the guernsey?? Silly idea from the get go, move on

Yeah mate, the boys are doing well. Still a fairly young team so good signs. Winning both grades against Ipswich was a very good weekend, especially as we were down with quite a few injured after a very physical game against the Pirates the previous week. very happy to have the bye this weekend. i think we have a good chance to make the finals this year in the seniors and looking few a few more wins in the ressies as well.

I hope they do for a few of the old fellas in the side. Quality guys there

Two cracking games at Pirates today. Two's was a real enjoyable encounter played in good spirits. Well done to Morro thanks for helping the boys out. As for stacking the other 21 players have played all year?

In the seniors draw probably fitting result. Pirates had best of first and last quarters, with Kedron all over the Pirates in second and third quarters .

Think our skipper Eddy did great job on big George containing him to 3 goals one of which was a pretty soft free kick.

Good game by both sides no doubt Kedron will be a different challenge on bigger ground. Hopefully silenced a few of the Pirates doubters.
