We simply don't play "team" football.
How often do we see a player ignore a sheppard and instead look to get the handball receive?

I got caned on here a few weeks ago for suggesting our biggest issue was inability to handle serious pressure - Exhibit A tonight.

Yep and it's got nothing to do with the coach. You can't win when you make basic skill errors again and again and again. At least half their score was from dumb stuff from us and we missed a ton of chances ourselves.

Pea hearts - weak as piss. When the lights go on, finals arrive and the pressure goes up our team turns to absolute water.. Disgusting performance from everyone including the numpties up in the coaches box who can't seem to figure out what it takes to win an important final.

Chris Scott is not to blame for our skill errors and overall lack of 'effort' or whatever you want to call it. He's not to blame when Clangerfield sends it straight down a Port defender's throat. Scott isn't to blame when Guthrie spectates as his opponent runs away with the ball. You can't blame Scott if a player misses an open goal from 15 metres out.

Fortunately we get another game to try to reboot.

Its been a decade of choking.. He should be sacked.. He is a terrible finals coach..

Our #1 issue is that we have no substance.

The team is weak mentally. They go to water every single finals series since 2011.

Selwood stands up. Hawkins has stood up from time to time. Duncan has been consistently good in finals.

C. Scott is responsible for the rest of them and it's clear that whatever he emanates onto the group makes them quite literally shit themselves come finals time.

Henry and close weren’t redeeming. They just werent terrible like the rest. They haven’t played well.

Might not matter to you but for the mentality of the players its huge, just like giving up a 44 point lead.
