Ok. Accept
There was a whole lot more to this issue - how it was handled by MRO was the biggest issue
Ok. I don't know any of the details with the specific incident and I am supportive of umpires receiving respect. However I just find it a lightly comical that a group that espouses at all times accepting the decision as the only option regardless whether right or wrong could even suggest boycotting as an option.

I am also unaware of the specific circumstances other than contact being made with an official. I heard the umpires didn’t have a real concern with the actual incident rather the implications of that player not receiving any reprimand because that can set a dangerous precedence. In a game with so many grey areas there really needs to be clear unwavering rules against contact with officials.

Congratulations Moonshadow on your 12 goals yesterday against Gympie. First game of the year aswell how good!
Thanks Therookie91

One and only appearance for the season, just helping the reserves out as I had 8 seniors out yesterday, so a heap of reserve boys had to step up to play seniors leaving us a few short Saturday.

Ripping bunch the Gympie lads, was a really great day up there.

Looked like quite a few games yesterday were decided by some big and small margins.

Any reports?

At Yeronga v Kenmore. Very high quality game between two very good sides. Yeronga had their best side on the park all year but a slow start cost them. I would suspect both will be in the thick of it come finals time, probably two of the best sides in that tier below Hinterland, Wynnum, Moreton

10 goals 20 to Wynnum  Was it particularly blowy at Nathan Road? Or did the Tigers try Hawthorn's tactics from 08? ;)

Was a bit breezy but Wynnum missed some absolute sitters. Should have won by a hell of a lot more IMO.

Redcliffe have come off some really good form. Based on their game v Wynnum, unsure where this kind of positions them in relation to the top end of the ladder and teams such as Yeronga and Kenmore.

On another note, I heard the VFL has been put on ice until the Victorian cluster is sorted.

Any impact on the QAFL with VFL aligned players dropping back? And will that have any downstream impact on this comp?

I think there is a limit of only 4 VFL aligned players to play at any one time in QAFL. That may be lifted due to Covid, but if not don’t think it will be much different to normal.

They may allow QLD and NSW VFL Teams to play a few rounds whilst Melbourne in lockdown maybe or clubs may just have practice games?

Not the best scenario at present but won’t effect Div 2 unless drastic changes to VFL you would think.

Wasn’t at Pirates Game on weekend but boys played well and thoroughly deserved the win apparently. Think Pine Rivers in similar situation to us with some injuries to few of their better players at present.

Good to see Thomas Hurst back, kid can play

Kenmore knocked them off Rd 1 and dont think they've played Yeronga yet. Probably battling with PR, Alex, Pine for 8th
Probably a pretty fair analysis.

Wonder how teams are dealing with that mid season grind? That balance of losing some to injury, bringing some guys back from injury and trying to win games in between all of that!

Seems like league news is generally pretty low at the moment.
