sure, some may have played a mix of Springwood/Beenleigh/Logan whatever as juniors - but they are essentially local kids at the local club.

I personally think thats a great thing, is it not?

Few clubs in these lower leagues will get a huge shock when the points system and salary cap is applied in the QFA in the next 2-3 years (as alleged). Don't think Beenleigh will be one of them!

Congratulations to Park Ridge to make the GF. A bit of everything on Saturday. Very fast start to Cooly. That rain storm was a bit fun in the forth!

Well been a long season .Pirates back to best last week .Going to be a great game of footy .
Been a Journey the last 2 years for both clubs .Well done to Blocker and his boys a fantastic season .
Now for the Grand final and every one knows any thing can happen in a Grand final .

Cheers Commish, all the best to your boys as well mate. To think both clubs were lucky to escape relegation last season and to be grand finalists the next year speaks volumes of both clubs.

Should be a solid game of footy with two contrasting game styles.

If watching this live stream of the Grand Final has taught me anything it's that there is a guy in the Pirates coaching staff that should not be there. You can hear everything they are saying all game cos there is no commentary. The bloke has no clue and has pot shots at his players constantly.

Congrats on the win but they need to **** that guy off.

Just watched number 65 for the Pirates run onto the ground after the game after they had won. Went straight to the opposition coaching staff and gave them the finger then proceeded to go straight to the umpire and give them a full blown spray.

What a flog.

Was standing near the pirates bench. He also spent the day telling everyone that it wasn't his fault.
Red card first quarterin a gf says it all I suppose.
Congrats to bomber some success for his years of service to footy.
Will be an even bigger challenge for him next year.
I assume blocker is already onto who he's targeting for next year.
